Her hair is light, almost a yellowish, with a hint of that strawberry pink and she normally wears it in a ponytail when she is working outside with the grapes. Otherwise her hair is down, covering her shoulders in a light shine and drops down to her elbows. Her eyebrows are also a blonde color and her eyelashes are a very light brown with blonde edges. Her eyes are the color of grape leaves, another reason her father thinks she is perfect, they are deep, and one can get lost in them easily. Her hands are usually calloused from fighting and working with the grapes, she constantly lathers them with lotion, but it doesn’t help much. Syrah is also pretty muscular from working outside and training in fighting. Her legs are strong along with her arms, but not visibly so. She has thick pink lips and her eyes are wide. Her nose is perfectly portioned with her heart shaped face. |
Personality Syrah is a dedicated to making wine! She is just as crazy about it as her father. She is stuck up and proud, but she tries to hide it and be nice to people. She can get annoyed very easily, but doesn’t get angry much because she is low on the work chain and knows it will get her nowhere. She is a racist, cold-hearted girl who always thinks she is better than just about anyone else. Her personality changes drastically when she gets drunk. She becomes funny and develops an amazing sense of humor. She gets flirting and seductive and it would be very easy for a man to pick her up when she is drunk. That’s mostly why she tries not to drink too much of her wine, though she does let loose sometimes. Otherwise, she is serious and though she smiles, she smiles when people talk about things she is interested in. Because she is so stern she likes the discipline of the unarmed combat of the Akalak and trains, every once in a while, with them. She is working on becoming less tense, so she can get along with people more, and be more like her mother.Clothing Syrah normally wears light cotton pants for working and a linen sleeveless shirt. She prefers not to wear shoes when she is working with the grapes because she likes the feel of earth beneath her toes. When she is not working or making wine she wears a nice linen shirt and a long flowing skirt with polished leather flats.Likes Syrah loves to make wine. She also loves to drink it. And when she drinks enough she loves to flirt and seduce. She secretly loves to party and she likes the release of stress during combat. Obvious enough, her favorite food is the grape.Dislikes Syrah dislikes many things. She doesn’t like children, thinks they are annoying and disruptive. She doesn’t like it when people disagree with her when she knows she is correct, and she hates it when people tell her what to do. But she is an employee, not the boss yet, and she has to deal with it. She is racist to just about any other race besides humans or their sub-races, although she respects Akalaks a bit more than others. She looks down upon almost everyone unless they are clearly more knowledgeable than her. |
Family Syrah has a father, a mother, and an older brother. Her father owns a large wine making company and is delighted to see Syrah pick up on his profession. Her father is a stuck-up and strict man; he tends to not treat his employees very well, and has bought many slaves so he doesn’t have to pay them to work in his vineyards. Syrah is the apple of her father’s eye. He never much liked his son, Gris, and when Syrah was born she became his favorite. Although he tried to teach Gris his skill, Gris didn’t pick up on it and rather left the family when he grew up to go build houses instead. Dean, her dad, instantly dropped Gris from his family and turned his attention to Syrah, carefully teaching her to make wine. Syrah loves her father and resents her mother, who always favored her brother over her. Her mother is a kind woman who loved her son and didn’t love her daughter. She mourned when Dean disowned Gris and still loves him more than Syrah. Syrah does not like her brother, but doesn’t hate him either. She would rather not see him, but when she does she acts like they are close, which in some cases they are. Because she was constantly under Dean’s wing she gained some of his mean personality, but she tried to fight it back and be more like her mother, but skilled like her father.Housing Owns an apartment in the Kuahala Estates. This apartment is a two room abode with high ceilings and a large window overlooking the scenic cliffs. In the common room there lives a small table and chair, and a hearth for warmth. In the small second room there is a small bed with a locked chest to keep valuables in. Her family is rich because of her father booming wine company that exports wine to many regions. Dean trained Syrah all her life to become a vinter and when she became old enough he sent her to work in one of his factories. She became a skilled vinter for her age and after knowing that she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps she decide to travel to Riverfall to work in their famous vineyards. Her father supported this completely and let her go.Miscellaneous Syrah wants to make her dad proud. Yes, she loves wine but she picked up a bit of his personality and she secretly wishes she could be more outgoing and fun. Really, she is just looking for someone, weather a friend or a lover, to bring out her inner wild. And because of her closed off personality she doesn’t have a lot of friends and she doesn’t know where to start looking. So she keeps doing what she knows best, vinting. |
Relationships (Lewis) Dex: Dex is a Kelvic that Syrah find extremely annoying. She would rather not be around him but when she needs someone she always goes to him. She regrets it later, she always does. But when she is with Lewis something weird always is turned inside her. Could this have something to do with Bonding that Daemon mentioned?Rykanis: Ryk is a good friend to Syrah. She thinks of him as a nice man who actually listens to her. Although he wouldn't mind taking her to bed and she would, she still thinks of him as a polite man. Although because she is racist Syrah would never go father than friendship with someone like Ryk, even though he seems like the perfect man. Maybe someone can change her mind? "Tock": In Syrah's mind, Tock is a strange girl who she wouldn't be friends with normally. She does like the fact that Tock knows what she is talking about. But her weird accent confuses her. Daemon: Syrah doesn't mind Daemon even if he is a animal child. Daemon seems like a calm boy with a polite manner to him. Why won't he tell her more about Bonding?! Dallestria: Syrah hates Dallestria. She mocked and abused her, which Syrah does not take lightly. She would happily beat the girl down if she couldn't turn into a savage cat. It will take a lot of apologizing and make ups for Syrah to even remotely begin to like Dallestria. Kennen: Although Syrah thinks Kennen is attractive she doesn't like it attitude. He was helpful when she visited the library but he seemed too absorbed in his books to really pay attention. Lysing Bouldershine: Syrah does not like Lysing, but she doesn't hate him as much as Dallestria. He tried to take advantage of her in public, in which she quickly struck him down. He did apologize but it take more than a few words to gain Syrah's friendship. Waheed: Before traveling to Riverfall, Waheed was Syrah's best and only friend in Syliras. He was always there for her, friend wise and always delivering her packages. Syrah loves Waheed, he is more than she could ever ask for. She appreciates the fact that he takes care of her, instead of taking advantage of her, when she drinks a little too much. She couldn't ask for anyone better than Waheed. |
