Virres Mace Terras Name: Virres Race: Isur Age: 38 Birthday: Spring 15, 474 AV Character Concept "The hammer sings to me, whether it be the gentle rap, tap, tapping of the forge or the raucous clamor of a battlefield all of it comes as music to my ears." Vir is an artist, his greatest effort goes into anything he does, singing, carving, crafting, even fighting all of it makes his soul burn with artistic passion. He wishes to hone his skills and spread his creations throughout Mizahar, even if he must leave his home to become the best he will follow whatever path leads him to his wide-reaching goal. Physical Description Standing at almost exactly 5'4 and 285 lbs Virres is a very good example of his race. He has short dirty blond hair and emerald green eyes. His left arm is a slightly deeper shade of emerald with glowing silver veins running the length of his body, upon his right is the twining mark of Izentor that all of his race are gifted with. His rugged looks are a testament to his parents and their powerful Clan. Character History Cy's parents were a loving couple... It was well known throughout the Coglias clan that the two had nearly been fated for each other so well did their two personalities mesh... Sadly Verres' birth mother was killed in a vicious Zith attack while he was only 4 years old. His father, scarred by the loss of his beloved and his inability to save her, swore to never again lift his hammer for battle. To assuage his broken heart he turned to his only other passion, the forge, and began to spend much of his time with the local smith's. With his single minded fervor he quickly surpassed many of the basic level smiths he had access to and went in search of someone, something, new. With the Terras clan he found it. A beautiful young smith, powerful, prideful and strong. The man felt stirrings he had thought all but forgotten at the mere sight of her. For a year and more he strove with all his might to gain her affections until finally she accepted him. With his father, a former hammer, and his new mother, a well renowned Terras smith, Virres has been gifted with the best of both Terras and Coglias. Years passed and Vir learned to fight and to smith, and over time discovered his unbridled love of art of every possible form. He studied the carvings and sculptures that cover every inch of Sultros, perused the wares for offer throughout the cities and clanholds, listened to the songs of bards and minstrels in the taverns... And even joined them on numerous occasions. More recently though he has become concerned with Sultros's state of affairs, and especially his own clan's hostility towards humans and the other clans. He spent some time with a few friends trying to curb the worst of the issues, but they were unable to make much leeway... As such Virres has decided to leave his ancestral home and make out for the world above.
