[Hadrian]

Contrary to the opinions of many, Hadrian was a cautious fellow, taking time to figure things out if he could, and only making calculated risks when necessary. And so in considering his options, it seemed wise to go with the closest to hand: he would attempt the next page. He turned the page carefully, but concentrated also on the contributions J'sova had left behind inadvertently, as those seemed to want to help him figure this out. His Lykata was rarely this strong and precise, and he wondered if J'sova herself had something to do with it. If the code proved too difficult for him, he could search for that book he had caught in one of those goddess-granted flashes, or perhaps ask around based on the information he had now. Any of these options might give him more to work with, and then perhaps he could find this J'sova's home, or the place to the northeast where the strange men had gone. But if there was to be danger even now, he wanted to have as much information as possible to be his sword and shield. He read on, or tried to.

This was a wonderfully intriguing premise for a thread, and I am sorely disappointed it didn't have the chance to come to fruition. I would love to pick up the thread, but without knowledge of Cachet's plans I feel like it would just fall short in my own grasp. I awarded the 5 full points for Cryptography due to the IC and OOC effort put into the translation, and I enjoyed Hadrian completely ignoring a room full of beautiful women to find a book, nicely done. I gave the journal as a reward so that even if it can never be fully utilized it can serve as a sort of memento for Hadrian, but if you prefer him to leave it in the library, just let PM me and I shall remove it. Perhaps Serrif will re-surface and you can convince him continue this thread, if so just let me know!
