Her skin, which naturally would be fair, has been well tanned from all the sun she gets. Her thick auburn hair, rich with ruddy highlights, is worn fairly long, the ends reaching down to mid-back, and she has bright green eyes that stand out against her dark complexion. Character Concept Tamilin is an independent soul, raised amongst traders and mercenaries to be strong minded and sharp witted. She is naturally friendly, but has a bend to keep an eye out for how she can make the most of a situation and an individual. Character History Born the youngest child and only daughter to her father, trader Johain, and the horse kelvic, Elmina, that briefly bonded with him, Tamilin was always a treasured child... by her mother, at first. Her father was and has always been a very busy man, and hadn't the time to spare to raise an infant and then a toddler, but found himself stuck with a vivacious little girl when Elmina mysteriously vanished. This, for Tamilin, was a difficult phase. She'd already had her elder brother, a dog kelvic whose name she doesn't remember, leave the family, and now found herself without a doting mother and in the care of a man who wasn't entirely sure what to do with the little girl who looked so like her mother. So he brought her with him. Fortunately he had in his employ a guard couple who gladly took up the task of watching over and teaching the child who thrived on the road amongst the animals. It was these two, Ada and Eldin, who encouraged Tamilin to learn to defend herself as she matured, and taught her how to ride and handle the oxen and dogs. Johain watched from a distance as his daughter grew, then began bringing her with him into the cities to observe his trade, belatedly building a father-daughter bond just a little too late. While Tamilin was thrilled to learn how to better work the markets, and overjoyed to be gifted a weanling colt to train herself and a pup to raise, she was not all that keen on taking up the trade in truth. Her father saw that, and began to look into getting himself a woman and eventually an heir to his trading 'empire'. That suited Tamilin just fine, as she was of a mind to strike out on her own anyway. It took her another couple years, to save up and gather what she knew she'd need, and to sufficiently complete the training of her Gildling and Sykanis to temporary satisfaction, but she finally was ready... and chose Riverfall.
