The Training Yard The Training Yard is a small clearing in the forest just outside of the Base Camp. Out of necessity it was founded by a Pycon who arrived as a mercenary. That Pycon's name is Master Pikkle. Master Pikkle realized that many non-Jamoura, himself excluded, were having extreme difficulty in capturing Jamoura, without receiving severe injury. So he found an area that could mimic The Spires as close as he could figure, with large trees, and small open space. The main principles Master Pikkle tries to teach is submission with as little permanent injury, to both parties, as possible. He teaches followers how to fight with senses other than your eyes, for the Jamouran camouflage ability fools many, as well as the presence of the mist. He teaches speed, evasion, and precision over brute force. His weapon of choice is a cushioned club, made out of incredibly dense, heavy wood. The weapon is silent, won't break bones, and will render a person or Jamoura unconscious after a swift enough blow to the head.   NPCs Name: Master Pikkle Race: Pycon DoB: 488 AV, 24 PoB: Lhavit Title: Mercenary Skills: Py-ken 78, Projection 76, Acrobatics 64, Cushioned Club 56, Teaching 49 Master Pikkle is a former Shinya Master of Lhavit, though he is currently serving as a mercenary. He used to command a hundred Shinya, and would teach each of them personally. He grew to know them all very closely, knowing all their flaws, their strengths, their secrets. But then one by one, his disciples started dying for various and unrelated reasons. Their losses weighed heavily on his heart, until the deaths reached 8, and 8 too many. He eventually couldn't take it any more, and relinquished his position among the Shinya. He left Lhavit, taking odd jobs as a mercenary and combat instructor in various cities. He eventually made his way to The Spires upon hearing of their plight.
