[The Cages] Lovely Conversations (Ximal)

When the gaurd let Ana go, her legs wobbled dangerously; threatening to buckle under her already meager weight. Even the locks in her knees seemed to be against her, refusing to work properly in keeping her standing normally. Just a moment ago she had been sitting in front of the cage, next she had been laying on the ground with a large bump forming on the side of her head throbbingly painfully. That wasn't normal, not at all, what had caused her to go so beserk that she wasn't able to recollect the last few moments? Feelings of pure and utter rage, a protective nature welled up inside her as she tried to grope for the memories in her mind now long gone. Clutching her fastly beating chest as she looked back at Ximal, now suddenly more afraid of him than she was of anything in the Spires, in the entire land even. Shakily she remained standing, eyes wide, appearing to be dumb struck before snapping her full attention to Ximal, fearfully "it wasn't his fault, not his fault," she whispered pleadingly, her voice cracking dangerously close to that of tears. Was it his fault she was like this now? No, no of course not, he had been the light within Sunberth for her, although a rather bloody, and dark one, he was still a light none the less.

The conversation just continued to spiral downwards for the worse, crashing, what she had hoped to make of an alliance with him was now turning into a fear filled plea on her part for him not to harm Wrenmae. Her fault! Augh! How could she have told him his name, she shook, inside she felt a hot, angry emotion bubble under the lid yet remained enclosed. Tightly. Eyes flickering to the ground, then back to him, watering slightly as the pain in her head brought it from the rageful feelings again "p-please.." She tried in his mid sentence, but was ultimately silenced as Ximal gave his reasonings, Shroud was whom he was meaning to killing, but if he killed Shroud then he would kill Wrenmae, seeing as they were the same person.. Weren't they? They shared the same body after all. Shaking her head all the while he spoke, shutting her eyes tightly, inhaling, she needed to get ahold of herself and here she was breaking down into a mess of emotion, where had the control of her tears gone? Once she looked back up to him, in his eyes, his dark blue eyes, she did not fall this time and felt the fear consume her once more. Stepping backwards, biting her lip and holding her arms to her chest.

"Don't hurt him Ximal, please don't.." Her voice, died, the pleas would be futile to deter him from his 'quest'.

Her chest, clenched, sped, she broke the gaze between them and looked away, she had to get away from him; the blueness of his eyes burned in her mind. She shouldn't be feeling like this, it was as if a part of her wanted release, to do him in, but it was just pressurizing itself in her mind. Get away. Run from him, leave, theres nothing more to be said.. Anas feet moved on their own, giving her the jolt she needed to walk away from him, if he heard her, he was probably lucky to have "we can still be acomplices.. But when the Spires is reclaimed, we'll walk our seperate ways, for the sake of our lives.. I hope we don't meet again after this.."

Stopping once, she looked behind her shoulder at him some feet away, then she moved to be gone; towards escape she walked off. Ana needed to talk to Dr. Lixue, quickly. Not for her throbbing head, but for the insane moment she had little idea of what had happened within chimes. Maybe she had answers?

[The Cages] Lovely Conversations (Ximal)

Xi glowered down at Ana. He had no malice aimed at her. He had no strong feelings for her. Even as her voice warbled and even broke in places. Pleading with him, almost begging. What had he done to her? What hell had he put her through that she had become so desperately attached to him? His cold harsh blue eyes softened. The rage subsided and mellowed. He pushed the events of that night out of his mind. Letting her speak about what she though would happen and leaving things lie. Then an idea struck him. Simple but it could work. As she turned to leave he spoke again this time his voice still hard with anger but listening to reason. "Ana. I see that in some twisted way he's brought you to depend on him, from the way you speak about him. So i offer you a bargain. This is a one time only offer." His right arm locked around the bar in-front of him, his knuckles turning white with the strength of his grip and how sick he felt even saying this. "If you can change him, get him to apologize, i'll leave him be, not for his sake. I'd still gladly kill him if he was here now. But i offer you this, seeing how much you want to stop me from getting to him. If you can change him. Then i will leave him alone."

He could feel bile building in his stomach the sheer effort to restrain his rage and talk normally the blood lust behind him, Indescribable. "When i'm done here in the spires i head for alvadas, i give you three seasons, if you can change him in that time, i will hunt him no longer, i will leave him to you. If you can't, then i will kill him." From the song Xi had heard him singing he knew that this wouldn't be fair on her after all he already knew that wren would be heading to alvadas. But she didn't and that's what mattered. Closing his fist tight enough that he could see the veins on the back of his hand begin to show he looked down at her. Some thing about her reminded him of the two he'd left, and he couldn't help by try to keep from doing something. The way she'd begged him grated against him. Pushing his better nature forwards. He just wanted to leave things be. He didn't want anguish between him and her. "I know wren is a mage, i won't tell you how i know. But i do, His main power is the ability to control people. If you can get him to listen to you. I will respect what you've asked of me. If you can't, then he needs to be stopped before he causes what he's done to you to others." This was a gambit one he wasn't sure she'd take but with the way his luck was. It seemed as if ovek himself was watching over him.

Halting, she did not turn to face him; fearful of herself, what her actions would be. His offer was generous, but would he really let it go just like that? So easily?

Inhaling, gulping the air, exhaling she turned her head to look indirectly at Ximal, unsure of what to say before nodding her head once. Clearing her throat then letting a hand rest where the throb resonated "fine, you've got a deal, I can do that" she stated all too unsurely of herself; Ana just wanted to get away from him as fast as she could. Ximal was petching with her.. Wasn't he? She didn't half quite believe him.

Could she really put Wrens life out on the line just like that? Hopefully she could keep to her word, it would mean leaving the Spires almost immediately once they would be reclaimed. But could she bring herself to leave such an amazing place so quickly? It was beautiful, and she hadn't even gotten to experience it fully yet..

"Hah.." She let out a breathy laugh, cringing and turning away. Ana began to hurry away, her walking direction was weaving horribly, left, then right, zig zagging. She needed to find answers, hopefully the doctor would have them.

oocD:/ I'm sorry this is so short, I honestly had nothing else to say besides this.
