When the gaurd let Ana go, her legs wobbled dangerously; threatening to buckle under her already meager weight. Even the locks in her knees seemed to be against her, refusing to work properly in keeping her standing normally. Just a moment ago she had been sitting in front of the cage, next she had been laying on the ground with a large bump forming on the side of her head throbbingly painfully. That wasn't normal, not at all, what had caused her to go so beserk that she wasn't able to recollect the last few moments? Feelings of pure and utter rage, a protective nature welled up inside her as she tried to grope for the memories in her mind now long gone. Clutching her fastly beating chest as she looked back at Ximal, now suddenly more afraid of him than she was of anything in the Spires, in the entire land even. Shakily she remained standing, eyes wide, appearing to be dumb struck before snapping her full attention to Ximal, fearfully "it wasn't his fault, not his fault," she whispered pleadingly, her voice cracking dangerously close to that of tears. Was it his fault she was like this now? No, no of course not, he had been the light within Sunberth for her, although a rather bloody, and dark one, he was still a light none the less. The conversation just continued to spiral downwards for the worse, crashing, what she had hoped to make of an alliance with him was now turning into a fear filled plea on her part for him not to harm Wrenmae. Her fault! Augh! How could she have told him his name, she shook, inside she felt a hot, angry emotion bubble under the lid yet remained enclosed. Tightly. Eyes flickering to the ground, then back to him, watering slightly as the pain in her head brought it from the rageful feelings again "p-please.." She tried in his mid sentence, but was ultimately silenced as Ximal gave his reasonings, Shroud was whom he was meaning to killing, but if he killed Shroud then he would kill Wrenmae, seeing as they were the same person.. Weren't they? They shared the same body after all. Shaking her head all the while he spoke, shutting her eyes tightly, inhaling, she needed to get ahold of herself and here she was breaking down into a mess of emotion, where had the control of her tears gone? Once she looked back up to him, in his eyes, his dark blue eyes, she did not fall this time and felt the fear consume her once more. Stepping backwards, biting her lip and holding her arms to her chest. "Don't hurt him Ximal, please don't.." Her voice, died, the pleas would be futile to deter him from his 'quest'. Her chest, clenched, sped, she broke the gaze between them and looked away, she had to get away from him; the blueness of his eyes burned in her mind. She shouldn't be feeling like this, it was as if a part of her wanted release, to do him in, but it was just pressurizing itself in her mind. Get away. Run from him, leave, theres nothing more to be said.. Anas feet moved on their own, giving her the jolt she needed to walk away from him, if he heard her, he was probably lucky to have "we can still be acomplices.. But when the Spires is reclaimed, we'll walk our seperate ways, for the sake of our lives.. I hope we don't meet again after this.." Stopping once, she looked behind her shoulder at him some feet away, then she moved to be gone; towards escape she walked off. Ana needed to talk to Dr. Lixue, quickly. Not for her throbbing head, but for the insane moment she had little idea of what had happened within chimes. Maybe she had answers? |
