Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

OOCThis is more of a Flashback for me then anything else. Dex has mentally submerged these memories as a trauma, and forced remembrance of these memories will cause undefined issues. Undefined because I just haven't made it up yet. :D

Timestamp: Spring 1, 512, Hour 2
Location: Somewhere in between Riverfall and Black Rock, on a boat

He'd been sleeping happily in the boat. Over the past year, he'd found out that he could generally hide in the cargo bay, crawl inside a bag, and simply wait for the ship to land back in the next harbor. He generally had enough food, since rats were always a problem, no matter how clean they kept a boat. Stories were passed around the year from time to time about how a boat was suddenly clean of rats, completely. Only a few had discovered it was him, but it didn't matter. All he had to do was wait for the ship to put into dock, look for some big blue people, and then figure out what to do from there.

Suddenly, he woke up. It wasn't just as he normally woke up, but he woke up because something strange was happening. He couldn't tell what yet, but he could sense it. He crawled out through the hole he'd ripped in the bag and looked around. Something was going past them all. It wasn't air, because it went right through things. Having no knowledge of Djed, he couldn't figure out what it was, besides strange, and slightly threatening. Then the ship promptly began changing, in a very odd manner. The wooden deck, the stern, and halfway up left or right from the middle, all turned to glass, leaving the ends still wooden.

The next few minutes were a blur of images. The birds that had been floating peacefully above, suddenly became bigger, yellow, and deformed in various ways. The new deformations made them drop erratically, most smashing into the boat, promptly breaking it's new glass center in half. This angered him a lot. How was the boat going to get him to the place now? Feeling enraged, he extended his claws, which were suddenly sharper and longer, along with his teeth, and lunged at the nearest bird. The boat promptly began to sink, taking some birds, people, and a ticked off ferret into the water.

It wasn't all bad. A piece of wood that hadn't been turned to glass ended up underneath him. It wasn't big, maybe 2 feet long and half as wide. His very own psuedo boat. Actually it was just driftwood, and his little ferret body was splayed on it, unconscious for a few minutes. The waves that splashed on his body woke him up, making him more ticked off then he already was. He looked himself over, still feeling that odd sense of things going through his body.

Looking himself over slightly, he noticed that his fur coat had an odd black twinge to it. Not thinking much about it, he looked over the water and saw it had a black twinge as well, but mixed with other mixed colors. Something was very very wrong. He noticed that at the right angle, he noticed the slightest twinge of red. Everything was just a twinge, a faint mix. His stomach panged at him with hunger, which would be difficult since their weren't any rats on his little piece of driftwood.

But until then, he could chew on these stupid birds. For some reason, those birds annoyed him. They made him angry, made him ticked off, they made him want to ... to kill something.

Spring 1, 512 Hour 3
Location: On a piece of driftwood

Dex had fallen asleep, hungry, wet, and angry. When he woke up though, it wasn't any better. If anything, it was worse.

Current StatusStill adding more here. A lot more actually.

Spring 1, 512, Hour 10
Location: Riverfall Beach

He finally hit the beach. He was on a piece of drift wood, and had been riding the waves for the past 8 hours. Mutated birds and fish and even plants had all passed by him, a few having had to be fought off. Now all he needed was a den, and for nothing else to bug him. Little did he know how many things were going to bug him in this major city.
