When Satevis came walking out, clearly with no cat in hand, Vorn Qwahera had a mix of anticipation and disappointment in his expressive eyes. Still, he looked at the benshira with a hopeful expression, and a hint of misery began to creep into his visage when it was clear Satevis would not continue the search.
Until something made him turn around.
"Please do," The child encouraged softly, silently urging him to retrieve his cat from the house.
Upon a customary inspection of the windows in the house, Satevis found them to just be dusty glass panels. The windows were built in the pre-Valterrian style of architecture, but nothing much could be observed due to the layer of dust covering the glass. If he tried to wipe the dust away, he would find that the panel of glass strangely showed a view of metal bars instead of the usual rectangular-with-a-cross window pane.
Metal bars like a jail.
Even more strangely, the glass panels could not be moved or lifted like normal windows, instead just providing a view into the numerous steel bars that lined the window. Combined with the cobwebs hanging from bar to bar, it obstructed any hopeful view that he had of the insides.

Strange. The windows seemed to be lined with metal bars. To keep thieves out, he wondered?
...Or was it to keep something in?
Satevis felt a small shiver come over him as he brushed dust off of one of the window panes, attempting to see inside. It was too dark and dusty for him to see anything, and the metal bars prevented him from doing anything like breaking the window. He could get through the glass easily, but none of his elements would be any help getting past the bars. If he had Earth Reimancy, he might be able to do it, but as it was, it looked like the windows wouldn't work as a means of entrance.
Which left the ceiling panel again. As Satevis walked into the house for a second time, he wondered if he had finally gone well and truly insane.
The chair was at an awkward angle, so he grabbed it, attempting to move it so that it was directly under the tile. Once that was done, he climbed onto the chair, starting to see if he could move the tile aside and climb into the space in the ceiling...

The chair and floorboards creaked as it was moved for the first time it possibly centuries, and the many layers of cobwebs seemed to protest silently as they were shifted, brushed aside to make way for the ethaefal's actions.
As he climbed up to fit his body into the foreboding darkness, a combined wave of nausea and nostalgia hit him for a split second before that feeling faded away. Soon, his whole body was finally in the cramped attic, and he found himself surrounded by complete darkness. Fortunately, there was a little light coming from the entrance that he created, but there was nothing much he could do but wait until his eyes adjusted to the dim ambience. Unless of course, he had other means of creating light and was impatient enough to do so.
