Riders on the Storm [Kashik][Completed]

The Wilderness of Cyphrus is an endless sea of tall grass that rolls just like the oceans themselves. Geysers kiss the sky with their steamy breath, and mysterious craters create microworlds all their own. But above all danger lives here in the tall grass in the form of fierce wild creatures; elegant serpents that swim through the land like whales through the ocean and fierce packs of glassbeaks that hunt in packs which are only kept at bay by fires. Traverse it carefully, with a guide if possible, for those that venture alone endanger themselves in countless ways.

Vanator built up momentum, aware that Kashik was building speed. He laughed out loud, a hearty guffaw from the gut at the threat to injure his genitals. Too late did he realize that his forward motion was out of control. He felt his ax shift as the spearhead caught it, her weapon's shaft tangling his leg, his eyes widened, he felt himself go down, his feet slipping across the rain-slick grass.

Van refused to go down in defeat. Releasing his ax altogether, he grabbed her wrist as she twisted away, gripping hard and pulling her down after him, his other hand up to grab the shaft of the spear and prevent her from slamming it against his head on the way down.

His rotation brought his back to impact against the ground, a loud "oof" escaping his lips. Kashik came down next, landing on top of him. Stretching out the arm gripping the spear, Van burst out again in laughter, struggling to breath and feed his lungs the oxygen it craved. His hand kept its grip on her free wrist, which he twisted behind her back.

Riders on the Storm [Kashik]

Now it's found us
Like I have found you
I don't want to run
Just overwhelm me

She hadn't expected him to drop his ax - it was one of the greatest lessons her father had ever drilled into her. Never drop your weapon! So she was completely unprepared for it, and the surprise tripped her up, and then he caught her and dragged her to the ground. The sound that escaped her was something along the lines of "HahahAAAAAIIEEEE!" and she collapsed on top of him, her yelp of surprise boiling over into hysterical laughter.

At the end of it, she found herself sprawled atop him, legs tangled with his and her arm twisted behind her as they both laughed at their idiocy and exuberance.

Of course, that left her on top of him, and she wasn't one to go long without noticing that. Impossible not to notice the hard muscles that pressed against every line of her body, or the smell of his skin so close, sweat and rain and that unmistakable scent that all men had, though no two had the same. Her mood shifted as quickly as the lightning that crawled across the sky above her, wet locks of hair slithering across his chest and throat as she tilted her head up to catch his gaze.

"Let's call that battle a draw," she chuckled, and her emphasis made it clear that while that particular encounter had just ended, the war was by no means over.

She attacked him then, though it was softer and slower than any of her previous moves had been - just a shiver of movement as she lowered her head and touched warm lips to the side of his throat, layering kisses over his skin for long moments before he finally felt the gentle touch of teeth.

Riders on the Storm [Kashik]

From a pure combat perspective, the engagement was not a success. Vanator was without his weapon, and his opponent had a position of advantage over him. But Van could not have been more excited about his predicament. Kashik lay sprawled on top of him, her weight pressed against him, her long dark hair plastered to his bare, wet skin. There was an energy surging through and between the two Drykas that seemed to resonate with the power of the storm raging above them. Van met Kashik's intense teal eyes, his own reflecting a stirring flame in their gold-flecked depths.

He offered her a wry smile before she leaned in to press her full lips against the skin of his neck. Vanator tilted his head back slightly and to the side, giving her better access. As she set her teeth to his flesh, a deep moan, combined with a soft laugh slipped from his lips. His hand released her wrist trapped behind her back, his other hand letting go of the spear and moving to entwine his fingers in her soaked mane. He did not apply pressure to her head, But gave her freedom to explore him as she wished.

His other hand splayed across Kashik's back, moving to trace the groove of her spine down to the small of her back. There it lingered for a moment, his fingers caressing the skin he could feel through the wet fabric of her tunic. Van shifted beneath her slightly, relishing the friction of the woman's firm physique against him.

Kashik let out her own little moan at the feel of his hands in her hair, though it was buried beneath skin and thunder. For a moment she had actually worried that he might simply be pushing her away, the memory of his Lacun mark insinuating itself into her thoughts, but there could be no doubt once his hands were on her body - the energy between them was palpable. It was as if he produced sparks of lightning from his very fingertips, so clearly did she feel each touch.

Newly freed hands went to the ground on either side of his head, though they slid their way along his chest and shoulders before she braced herself. When he moved beneath her, she moved with him, shivering deliciously as she gave a final nip to throat and trailed her kisses over his jaw. As she got to his mouth, she gave a playful nip to his bottom lip.

"Well met, Vanator of the Denusk Pavillion, of the Sapphire Clan," she laughed, her body shifting provocatively against his as sharp needles of rain fell from the sky. The worst of the storm was passing now, winds whipping the grasses around them as thunder pounded the air at an almost constant pace. She stole a kiss from the corner of his mouth, and then lifted her eyes to his - and there was no question what she wanted, not the way she writhed against him, or the heavy-lidded pleasure that suffused her face. But she was no bully, remembered his mark, was perhaps more careful than she usually was because of it. So instead she met his gaze, and let him decide whether he would parry or return this new attack.

Riders on the Storm [Kashik]

Postby Vanator on April 26th, 2010, 2:53 pm

Van looked up into Kashik's crystal clear eyes, alight with passion and mischief. His grin returned, though a breathy sigh preceded it. "And I will confess that the Brightsmile pavilion trains their warriors well!" Though his words were light and jovial, the quickness of his breath and the specific subtle shifting she felt beneath her betrayed the fact that the male's thoughts indeed were running along the same line as Kashik's.

Looking past her captivating visage, Van glimpsed the dark, lightening shod clouds above them. If there was an image that epitomized the true nature of the Drykas, it must have been the scene taking place. The incredible raw power of the land they loved enveloping them, an adrenaline-charged contest of warriors, and the unbridled passion of the Drykas spirit entwining the soon to be lovers laying in the bed of tall Cyphrus grass. Vanator's head spun with a euphoria he had not experienced in a painfully long time.

He wanted the engagement to progress, from combat to a more intimate fray. His eyes locked again on Kashik's. With a burst of movement, he released his hold of her hair, slipping his elbow back to bump against her arm, forcing the elbow to bend and give way. At the same time, his hips shot out in the opposite direction. Wrapping his arms around her, he rolled out from under her, spinning Kashik on her back and settling on top of her, straddling her, Kashik's hips between his thighs.

He supported himself on his hands, placed above either of her shoulders, leaning over her with his wry grin. Vanator lowered himself, his mouth a hair's breadth from her ear. He spoke softly. "If the gods truly will mischief from you, they surely must be pleased." Kashik inspired a playfulness that typically eluded the older horseman. He lowered his head slightly, taking the lobe of Kashik's ear between his teeth, applying the slightest amount of pressure before pushing himself up to hover over her again.

He held his pose for a long moment, his large frame blocking much of the pelting rain. It ran down his arms, through the contour of his muscles in tiny rivulets. A few drops dripped over his shoulders to land in splats onto the drenched fabric across her shoulders and breasts. Van met her gaze again, the emotions reflected briefly betraying a sincere appreciation for Kashik's stunning beauty. He drank in from her life-giving eyes, framed by delicate brows and strong yet soft cheekbones. The line of her jaw was exquisite, the roundness of her lips undeniable.

One hand lifted to brush away a few strands of dark hair clinging to her moistened cheek, then rested lightly against it, his thumb gently running across her smooth skin. Once again he leaned down, pressing his lips against hers. He allowed them to linger, before slightly parting his lips to take her lower lip between his. His tongue running lightly along it before releasing. His mouth pressed against her again, this time his lips parted, his tongue gently touching Kashik's ruddy lips, as if awaiting an invitation.

Riders on the Storm [Kashik]

Painted in flames
All peeling thunder
Be the lightning in me
That strikes relentless

When Vanator shifted and rolled atop her, Kashik's breath came faster even than it had when they fought. His comment brought a chuckle from her lips, and she opened her mouth to make a smartass reply... but his teeth replaced her words with a moan of pleasure and another sultry laugh.

As he drew back to take in her beauty, she peered up to take in his: the strength that rippled through each muscle as he held himself up, the tantalizing peek of the Windmark behind his shoulder that spoke of a place hard-earned among her people - her own was only barely visible through her shirt, more a suggestion of scrawling black ink surrounding her right wrist than something he could yet see. She stared at the strong, leonine sweep of his cheeks and nose, the strength and ferocity evident in every line of his body, and she trembled in awe of the utter maleness of him.

And then he lifted a hand and gently pushed away a strand of hair, caressing her cheek, and the breath was stolen away from her at the tenderness that was hidden behind such strength. No, not hidden, she thought as she nuzzled her face against his hand and tried to remember how to breathe in the presence of this man.

Kashik was a woman who loved easily and fiercely - and for most men, that meant something more fleeting than this, without care of tenderness for there'd never been a need. She was not a woman who needed the falseness of a gentle touch to convince her to bed.

But Vanator's touch held no falsehood, was tender because it was in his nature, and it shook her to her bones to learn what it felt like to be caressed without ulterior motive. Her head spun, dizzied by his touch and the flash of lightning that seemed from her vantage point to erupt from his shoulders. When he lowered his lips to hers, she shivered and tilted up to meet him, her mouth parting in the same instant his did, tongue flickering out to meet his, to tangle and taste him and draw him ever closer. It was like kissing a thunderstorm, making love to a hurricane - overwhelming and like nothing she could have prepared herself for.

Her right hand curled around his arm beside her and her left rose to sweep his own gold-touched locks clear of their lips. Her fingers disappeared into his hair, and she drew him closer, ever closer, cherishing the weight of him and the beauty of his face so close to hers and she moved against him in joy and welcome.

Riders on the Storm [Kashik]

Vanator lowered his arms as Kashik drew him against her, his broad torso pressing against her lean, voluptuous form. He could feel the softness of her breasts through the sheer wet tunic, her flat stomach brushing against his. He savored their fiery, entangling kiss, drinking Kashik in like a sweet dusky wine.

A flood gate had been opened. Vanator found himself awash with a heartfelt passion that had been buried and forgotten. There had been other's since he lost Tamar, but no woman had evoked the powerful synergy that Kashik had made alive within him, drew him to her so fiercely. She was life and love and lust and a beautiful heart that she freely poured out on him like the spring rain that drenched them both. And it nearly drove him mad.

Van broke the kiss, only to leave a trail of wet kisses over her chin and down her throat. His lips traveled down to the neck of her tunic, nuzzling aside the opening, the first few buttons undone. His kisses, interspersed with flicks of his tongue, brushed against the smooth skin below her collar bone and over her chest. Van inhaled, the scent of her damp tunic and faint feminine sweat teasing his senses. Van could feel Kashik writhe with greater intensity beneath him, coaxing him to press his hips against hers.

With a groan and a grunt, he rolled them again, this time smoothly and gently until Kashik was back on top of him. He wanted to be able to look into her face, to see her in all her gorgeous glory, and to give Kashik the freedom to follow her own desires.

When she found herself atop him again, she laughed brightly as the rain lashed across her back once more. She shifted until she could straddle him, watching his beautiful face with heavy-lidded eyes. The energy between them held as their gazes locked, intensified as if their bodies were lightning rods and the storm was determined to strike.

She pulled the tail of her blouse out from where it'd been tucked into her pants and slowly drew it up, eyes still locked on his. Careful hands undid the last three buttons and she shrugged it over her shoulders, letting it fall behind her to reveal the glory of luscious curves and golden skin, prickling as Zulrav's own hands caressed her body with wind and water.

She met his gaze once more and settled his left hand at her hip to guide her should he prefer some other rhythm, and cupped his right hand in both of hers, brought it up to press a kiss to his palm. Even as she nuzzled her cheek into his hand, she moved against him - slow, steady, exquisite torture, again and again. A fire lit her eyes, blue-green like burning salt, and she trembled and panted a little as she curled her fingers around his wrist and brought her weight to bear against him again.

Riders on the Storm [Kashik]

Postby Vanator on April 28th, 2010, 7:07 pm

As they settle back again, Kashik atop and laughing carelessly, Vanator lit up at the sound of her voice. His eyes met hers, the laughter reflected in the smoldering teal irises. Kashik could draw Van deep into her bright eyes, warm and daring and desperately beautiful.

The Drykas male's eyes darted from Kashik's gaze as she removed the drenched white tunic. A pleased grin stretched across his mouth as he took in her statuesque curves and the soft inviting swells that she unveiled. Just above her generous cleavage Kashik was adorned with a deep hued cobalt and teal stone on a silver chain. A flash of lightening illuminated the mysterious stone against her browned skin, slick and shiny as the rain continued to leave a glistening sheen on the heated couple.

Van's first desire was to reach up and lay his hands upon her, but he wanted Kashik to express her passion as she wished. When she placed his hand on her hip and began to shift upon him, he slipped it back slightly, lightly gripping her arse and allowing his hand to move with her motion.

He hummed with pleasure as the desirous Drykas woman kissed the palm of his hand and pressed it against the smooth hollow of her cheek. His thumb moved slightly, caressing her jawline.

Another moan escaped Van's throat as Kashik began to move on top of him, her weight pressing against his pelvis, with an almost instant reaction beneath her. His eyes widened as he gasped slightly. The cool rain pelting him could not reduce the burning that the young woman's writhing ignited, hotter and more intense than any he had yet experienced since they had begun. His hands slid to Kashik's breasts, discovering the curves and slopes, running a palm over the curious stone hanging around her neck. Vanator's breathing sharpened, and he struggled to keep his eyes from slipping shut in pleasure.

Hands slipping from his exploration, Van seized both of his lover's hands each, palm to palm with his own. Their fingers entwined and he squeezed gently. Van's eyes never left Kashik's, the almost spiritual connection infusing their gaze, reaching deeper than mere lust, further than simple commonality to a bond that only could exist between pure Drykas souls.

His consciousness almost overwhelmed by the steady grinding of Kashik's flesh against his, Van's eyes slipped shut and his head tilted back, panting and groaning, the grip on her hands tightening. With a grunt he let go of her hands and pushed himself up. He slid out from under Kashik, rising to his feet and hoisting the woman with him. Taking her hands, he placed them on his belt, his intentions clear as he worked to unfasten her riding leathers.

The last of their garments disgarded, Vanator lowered Kashik down into their bed of grass. The Drykas couple indulged one another in their discoveries, becoming familiar with each other in the most intimate ways, giving and receiving, experimenting and laughing in husky, lusty voices, echoed by the wind and the thunder and the pouring rain. When they reached the culmination of their amorous encounter, together, their Stiders whinnied and bucked, as if somehow stirred by the explosion of their riders passions.

Riders on the Storm [Kashik]

As Kashik and Vanator made love in the tall grass of the Sea, battered by the hand of Zulrav, that connection remained - though eyes slid shut in pleasure and bodies twisted against each other, that electrifying thread remained, strengthened, expanded until every touch was a prayer carried on the winds.

It'd begun as a battle, and each grappled for dominance in how much pleasure they could give the other, driving their bodies to the very edge of how much they could take.

The end found them once more on equal footing, Kashik knelt over her lover's lap as they sat through the dying gusts of the storm and clutched each other through their body's shaking, her brow pressed to his and her fingers dug into the Windmark adorning his shoulders. The last drops of rain fell as they cried out their pleasure and gasped in its aftermath, skin twitching as their eyes found each other's gaze once more.

She stared at his beautiful face in utter wonder, and even as she did the clouds separated and Syna's rays poured out like a balm on the plains, setting the drops of water on his skin to sparkling as brightly as the diamond chips in her soaked curls. It was like a blessing, stole the words from her tongue, too perfect, too much - but she was a woman built for too much, didn't know how to live any other way. So she drank in the sight of his face and thought her heart might stop within her chest at the glory of him.

She laughed, then, bright and breathless, and drew her hands forward to cup his face and kiss him tenderly. "I think, perhaps, I will never enjoy another storm so much as this one," she whispered against his lips, chuckling softly.
