Myri stood watching Revy, her body relaxed, her eyes calm, yet guarded. When she had finished speaking deeply bronzed lips turned slightly upward.
"A life lived by the blade and your skill behind it? Even a Myrian can respect that." She nodded slowly as if piecing it all together, then took a step forward and lay one inked hand upon Revy's shoulder. Her touch was like a jolt of energy, her gaze serious, though Syna's light touched dark eyes with a cat-like gleam. The sellsword's pain did not fade, nor her injuries heal, yet that simple touch seemed to awaken something hidden within, an inner strength that merely needed to be called to.
And just like that the moment was over. Myri was a busy Warrior Queen after all. She gave the tiniest inclinations of her head and strode languidly from the barracks. Upon reaching the doorway she stopped suddenly, a Myrian soldier carrying a fresh basin of water and bandages for the wounded human about to enter the room. Upon seeing his Queen the Myrian paused, making sure not to spill the water, and bowed low, eyes averted.
"Myri, you bless us with your presence."
The Goddess waved a hand nonchalantly and kept walking, her voice carrying back even as she swept away.
"Make sure this one heals quickly, she has a long road ahead of her."
