Character Concept
Zahlee is a very intelligent and gentle child who loves to learn. He always asked his parents questions during their travels and has retained most of what he has learned. His is very skilled with a bow and is a pretty good hunter for his age. His knowledge of Caiyha is also rather exceptional but this is because his parents worshiped her so frequently. His dream is to actually be able to serve her when he grows up.

Character History
His parents were wandering Kelvic that lived in no specific area for very long. In fact Zahlee had never even see the wood where he was born because as soon as he and his mother were strong enough they began to wander again. They lived off the land for many months after Zahlee was born. But whenever he turned six months old the happiness that he had shared with his parents was cut terribly short. While the family was moving along the Eastern coast of Taldera they were attacked by slavers. As soon as the slavers made themselves known his parents sprang into action using the skills they had learned from their various masters over the years. His mother whipped out her bow and arrows started whizzing through the air killing all whomever she targeted while his father retrieved his spear which rested on his back.

They fought back gallantly but the numbers were just against them. So instead of fighting to the bitter end they ran into the trees lugging a crying Zahlee along with them. They didn't know where they were going nor did they care. They just knew by the blood chilling howls of rage that the slavers no longer wanted them alive but dead. They kept running and running yet the slavers kept on coming until they finally caught up to them. As a result the mother and father took turns alternating from back to front as they began to fight off the slavers once again. By now Zahlee couldn't cry anymore and his wailing stopped because of his parched throat. He just continued to get dragged along by either his mother or father.

After several minutes of fighting Zahlee's parents started to get fatigued and with fatigue there always came mistakes. While alternating out Zahlee's farther tripped and landed feet from a slaver. Before he could even get to his feet a sword ran straight through the gap between his left collar bone and killed him instantly. The mother now distraught that her bond mate was dead let her rage take over and began to get careless. She was so focused on killing the one who had murdered her mate that she didn't even realize the slaver that slipped up in her blind spot.

Just as she was about to release her notched arrow a blade ran through her body from just above her right hip up through her lung and out her left chest cavity. Zahlee not knowing what else to do ran for it. Both his parents were dead and he would be next. He hated himself for being a coward but there was nothing else he could do. The slavers not yet finished with their revenge began to chance him as well. Fortunately for Zahlee they were just as tired as he was which meant he had a better chance of escape. Then without warning Zahlee sprouted his wings and took flight.

He hand made it up about 20 feet into the air before an arrow sprouted from his right wing. Feeling the sting of the arrow made him dip in altitude for a moment but thanks to the adrenaline that was pumping through his veins the pain subsided enough for him to continue to fly. Far below him he could hear more howls of rage but the higher he fly the fainter they became. At last the howls subsided as the wind started roar louder and louder the higher he went until he finally broke through the tree canopy and soared above the forest. Yet his luck was running out, for the adrenaline was running out and the arrow started to cause excruciating pain throughout his right wing. He basked in the sight of open clouds for about a minute before his right wing gave out and he started falling.

As he slammed into the tree tops his tiny body was slapped and cut as he descended downwards. After what seemed like a life time he finally broke through the top of The Spires and landed with a sicking thud just outside the temple of Caiyha. There he laid broken and bruised struggling to stay awake until finally he couldn't resist anymore. He fell into a restless sleep.
