The old waterfront store had definitely seen better days. The above ground section of High Spirits had become what one might call a fixer upper-to be nice. Its vibrant turquoise paint had faded into a dull gray-green on the constant ocean breeze and the front steps sagged with rotted wood. What had once been beautifully appointed bay windows facing the sea, were now dusty and a few panes were cracked. It was a shame that the place had fallen into such a gloomy state of disrepair. Beneath the layered grime and weather beaten exterior was sturdy, expensive wood that had lost its luster. The solid beams carved with fanciful and intricate shapes were glorious back in their day. The interior of the shop was cluttered but clean including a big stockroom people could shop through, a sitting area with table and chairs, and a curtained off area that lead to living quarters for the proprietor which were down a large staircase and built into the stone itself. For those that knew the owner, they'd know too that the shop itself was close enough to the coast that a tunnel, completely underwater, lead from High Spirits to the sea giving the resident an escape route from her shop if the front was ever blocked. And while there was only one living shopkeeper, at any given time the High Spirits could be home of any number of spirits from young and old. She's kind, generous, and a little ruthless when necessary. Nessela is a realist and can be a generous teacher though she often withholds information from her teachings so students learn to think for themselves. Nessela isn't in the best health recently and fears her death is coming upon her soon. She actively looks for an apprentice to replace her because she worries for the spirits in Riverfall if she were to depart for Leth's judgement and leave them without care.   Goods And Services Due to the nature of the shop, all items are custom and all lessons are by agreement only.
