# Physical Description:
Standing only 5'6", he isn't the largest person around, and weighing only 138 lbs, he's actually rather lanky. His eyes tend to remain cool blue because he is good at maintaining his composure, but become a magnificent violet when he is impassioned about something. When angry, his eyes are ruby and when determined, they are golden. He has raven black hair and slightly tanned skin, and he usually wears black shorts and a hooded black cloak, though has been known to change when it becomes necessary.
# Character Concept
* Personality - Passionate about things he cares about, distant when talking about himself and eager to change the subject, very imaginative, and prone to telling tall tales to make sure others avoid him. He's very free spirited, and of the belief that friendships are more a convenience than a relationship, mostly because he's socially inept. He makes up for that by acting like a jerk to most people, and he tends to come off as abrupt or aloof, though if someone is around him long enough, they might actually catch a glimpse of what he's actually like.
* Ethics - He doesn't mind lying if it means keeping others on the outside. He is fiercely loyal to a cause once he's committed himself, but he tends to avoid commitment when he can.
* Likes - Learning new things, helping others when he can (hopefully doing it without making a lasting impression or getting dragged into something that isn't his business), thinking, problem solving and telling stories. He also likes people who have common sense and don't drag him into issues he could have avoided on his own.
* Dislikes - He hates his family, his culture and talking about his own past. People who hurt others for no reason or for their own amusement make him angry, and he hates when people don't put effort into things they claim to care about.
# Character History
Alkor was born in Avanthal and raised there for the majority of his youth, when he was not hunting with his father and brother. Because of his physical ineptitude when compared with the other two, he often fell behind or found himself incapable of matching their abilities. His work ethic was strained very far because of this, to the point where he wanted little to do with tasks given to him by others because he was unable to meet their standards. He developed something of an inferiority complex, though he would never admit it to anyone, and he avoids showing weakness. Because of his own struggle through youth, he also developed compassion that made him something of a bleeding heart, and he can't help but offer his assistance if he sees someone having trouble.
The time he did spend in the city was spent reclusively, as he attempted to avoid the ostracism of his people and family whenever possible. He became adept at dodging them by training his body to move quickly and flexibly, adapting his own reflexes and muscular strength into that of a capable acrobat. When he did spend time with his parents and elder brother, he was talked down to for never spending time with them and being useless, forging within him a distrust of people and a hatred of his family and by default his own race. After he turned 16, Alkor quietly left Avanthal under the cover of night, without a word to anyone. He traveled far, using what little money he had stolen from his parents (they had little to nothing to begin with), and got to what he considered to be half a world away. Though he wasn't quite sure where that was, it was better than being home.
Having taken a few jobs and become something of a mercenary, Alkor prides himself in doing the best job he can and getting paid for it. He tends to frequent local watering holes to replenish his gullet of ale, his favored liquor. It should be noted that he is a rather obnoxious drunk, though (mostly) harmless.
