The darkness was lovely, simply magnificent, Ana was curled up on her side holding her green hands under her chest to keep them hidden better and enjoying the simplicity, the calmness of the morning rather than actually sleeping. The black against her eyelids felt rejuvinating in a way, yet, teasingly evil to the little thief as she sighed and turned on her other side. Trying to get comfortable, maybe not to sleep, but to at least get some rest on these hard pieces of wood called beds. Wrenmaes shirt was wrapped tightly in her arms somewhat longingly as she cuddled the shirt, awfully an odd thing to do but it brought some peace of mind to her weary senses. Ana wondered what he was doing, where he was, if he was still in Sunberth? Wouldn't he still be there waiting for her to come back? Somehow she held onto that belief that when she would return to Sunberth, she'd be rewarded somehow by him for doing such a good job at staying alive. No? Was it too much to dream? Was it so wrong to hold a hope within ones chest? No. No, of course not, despite all efforts she tried, he still had a clutch to her heart, her mind, a strong one at that; no matter the distance.

"Get up! Up!" A cheerful voice sounded in front of Anas curled figure, the hopping up and down pat, pats on the ground made Ana groan tiredly.

It was that little Jamoura, that Ana had no idea whos name was yet, little tyke was far too hyper in the morning "get up! C'mon you promised you'd play with me after the rain with Asha!" She whined somewhat, tugging the small thief's nightshirt to get up.

Ana lolled her eyes open, raising an eyebrow at the child somewhat scoffingly "alright, alright, I'm getting up," she stated with some annoyedness. Cute kid, for a Jamoura, far too excited for a silly game so early.. Yes, it was morning, right? Anas head lifted to look over to the entrance to the longhouse, it was far more light out than what morning would have allocated.

Hissing she sat up quickly and swung her feet off the bed and to the ground, standing and quickly digging into her bag, "why do I always sleep in," Ana muttered to herself quietly; the child jamoura watched Ana expectantly, a pout on her face for the small woman to hurry up.

Placing Wrenmaes shirt in her bag once more and taking out her regular clothing, thankfully it seemed that whenever it was mid-day everyone was out of the longhouse, she motioned for the little jamoura to turn around so she could dress apropriately. Having of taken the time to wash her clothes at least once in the last few days, albeit as fast as she could, there was possibly still sweat and grime in the clothe. Though it didn't really matter, it was better than the ammount of dirt she had usually allowed to cling onto her clothes back in Sunberth. The small Jamoura grumped a bit over this, mumbling to herself about how humans seemed to be so insecure with their nakedness. Ana would just roll her eyes as she speed clothed herself, tieing her hair into a loose bun and then snapping her scabbard to her side.

"Hide and seek, right?" Ana asked, a tired edge to her tone "Forgive me, my memory fails me at times kid," she stated somewhat apologetically.

"Mhm!" She jumped a bit, brightening up as Ana seemed to be ready and began to pull Ana with suprising strength, petch, she may have almost accidently pulled Anas hand out of her socket if the thief hadn't of know better to follow the little tyke as quick as she pulled. To Asha they went! Possibly waiting somewheres within the camp for them, Ana didn't know, the little jamoura would lead the darkly circled eyed thief to Asha.

Hide and Seek! (Asha)

Postby Asha on June 5th, 2012, 9:35 pm

Asha stood beneath a large maple tree on the edge of the camp, patiently waiting for the little imp that persuaded her into a game. The sun was warm that day but the maple’s shade offered some coolness for the thickly furred creature. Though it was really like coerced into a game. The little ball of fur had chanced upon her in the Mess Hall and demanded that she play a game immediately. Asha had recognized the child distantly as the offspring of one of her mother’s friends, but the name of the child and its mother escaped her. The blastedly energetic youth wouldn’t stand still long enough to answer a single question either. Asha had negotiated a promise with the child that if it would only leave her to her meal that day then she would play with him on another day. Fortunately or unfortunately that day had come.

Asha shifted from foot to foot as she looked around for the little Jamoura. Where could she be? Asha was certain that she had arrived at the appropriate time. Hopefully this was the right maple tree. She couldn’t get the child to be very specific. Finally from around a longhouse the small Jamoura emerged, and Asha was surprised to see that she had a human in tow. The child had never told her that a third was involved, and Asha guessed her recruitment was probably similar to her own. The child was a little imp indeed.

“Hello young one. Hello to you as well human, I am Asha. I take you were recruited for play as well?” Asha called out as they drew closer. She smiled mildly at them, a brow raised in some humor. The child had been busy it seemed, she wondered who else had been recruited on other days to ward off boredom. A thought popped into Asha’s head, what game were they playing? She had only negotiated for a game. She had no clue what game. She looked at the little Jamoura quickly. “Say, what are we playing anyways?”

If Ana should return, I will grade for her. With such a short thread, there was not a lot to grade for.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your grade, please send me a PM and we can figure it out. :)
