Treksha, From the Tents of None. Basic Information Race: Mixed Blood (Benshira/Eypharian) Birthday: 34 Summer, 490 AV Age: 22 Years Old Gender: Male Languages Language 1: Shiber (Fluent) Language 2: Common (Basic) Language 3: Arumenic (Poor) Physical Description Half-Benshira Half-Eypharian male, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 153 pounds. Tanned, lightly gilded skin, betraying his partial Eypharian heritage, despite his two arms. Eyes of a piercing, bright green, rimmed with a brilliant golden ring. Shoulder-length hair of a brown so deep, it borders on black - often held back by a simple leather-covered bone clip. Lean, yet muscular, as if he were once much stronger but a lack of nutrition led to his more wiry frame. Large feet and small hands, with long fingers and toes. Character Concept Being a mix of his Benshira and Eypharian heritage, Treksha truly embodies the two races. Proud, somewhat haughty, and fiercely devoted to his family, he strives for excellence in everything he does, often seeming headstrong and naive in his willfulness. He feels a bit lost when it comes to his religion, never feeling the same connection to Yahal as his family, and assumes himself an outcast because of their disconnection from the other members of the Benshira race. There is little he fears more than intolerance, and he strives to accept everyone as best he can. This often leads to inner conflict, as he attempts to accept those with morals that do not mesh with his own. Character History Born the bastard child of a Benshira man, Shedhael, and his mysterious Eypharian lover, Treksha grew up in a home largely disconnected from the cities and Tents of the Benshira. His father spoke little of his mother, other than to tell of her radiant golden beauty, and so Treksha viewed the Eypharians as the epitome of physical perfection. Their home was part tent, part leatherworking shop, where his father tanned and worked hide into exceptional pieces of leather. The boy's least favourite job was to knead the tanning hide, dreading planting his feet into the mixture of urine and feces that resided in the large tanks, but despite the odor and their severance from their Tent Treksha and his father made enough of a living to be considered well-off. He trained often with the long poles used to retrieve hides from the vats, becoming capable enough to defend himself, his home, and his father if the need arose. It was when Shedhael was killed that Treksha knew he must leave. He never understood the severity of his father's actions, before he was killed. Treksha thought everyone doubted Yahal, thought it was part of becoming a better person. He thought it was common to have children with other races, and thought the strange symbols his father sometimes dyed into the leather or carved into bone were accepted. He was horribly wrong. A traveling group of Benshira, discovering that Shedhael was both disowned by his family and performing Malediction, even teaching it to his own son, slayed him in cold blood. However, as the men turned on him to do the same, Treksha concocted an elaborate lie telling how he had been loyal to Yahal the whole time, and he never intended to use the knowledge he had learned from his father, so they left him alive. They saw it as protecting their families, protecting the Benshira. Treksha saw it as a betrayal of Yahal. From that point, he wandered beyond the sands of Eyktol, hoping to find his religion once more. Training (Skills, Arcana, Gnosis, Lore) Skills Physical
