Character Concept
A thief by necessity, Jimmy has pushed himself deeper into his undertaking with survival being the foremost thoughts in his mind. As a young child his parent’s where mercilessly slaughtered before his very eyes and he was forced to make his own way in the city of Sunberth. The years have taught him a few key things to keep him alive, remain anonymous, remain quiet but most of all, don’t get caught for to be caught is to be killed. Although always the fun seeking curious when it comes to his life on the streets, Jimmy keeps his wit’s about him and although he isn’t the master yet he knows that to attain his life goal that is what he must become. As for his Goal? One day he will come face to face with the one whom forced him into this life of living day by day in fear, when he does, he will be ready to shed his vengeance.
Character History
What little of Jimmy’s short life the young man could remember was obscured and shattered the day that his parent’s where killed before him. It was in his birth home of Sunberth where a man had stormed his home and killed his father before proceeding to rape his mother whilst he cried in the corner. After what seemed hours of cruel torture the assailant finally ended his mothers life by slowly slitting her throat, to this day Jimmy can remember the vivid color of red and intense feeling of abandonment when the murderous dog left his life in ruin deciding to leave the boy to cry and eventually die. However that was not how events unfolded.
After what seemed an eternity the boy eventually fled into the dark underworld of Sunberth, not a penny nor a skill to his young name at the age of six hunger drove him to steal petty food from stalls during the day and hide in the gutters by night. A tremendous amount of luck played its part in keeping the boy alive for the years at the beginning but the harsh life of survival did have its perks. The constant fear that every fallen stone could be an assailant about to strike, every footstep yet another murderous dog waiting to cut his throat and the thought that if he made a noise it would be the last sound he uttered, all this taught the boy the fundamentals of what it means to be a thief and he quickly learnt the importance of not being seen.
By the Age of Eleven the young boy was harder than most men, he was smart and had matured very early to the point that he was a sought after cut purse and was known around Sunberth for his boyish grin that hid a darker personality than any realized. It wasn’t until a man named Earin took the boy in to teach him the finer arts of Larceny that the boy began to feel almost safe and regain part of his boyish humor once more. Earin taught him much and gave him a bed and food in return for his service for a further seven years until the boy turned eighteen.
It was at this age that, not to Jimmy’s Surprise, the man disappeared most likely killed and tossed in some gutter but Jimmy had learnt too much to stick around. He decided that to remain in Sunberth would mean an early grave and although he had not come to terms with his experiences he had learnt to bury them deep in his mind. He quickly gathered what few possessions he could and joined a travelling baggage train bound for the city of Zeltivan intent on perhaps carving some sort of fortune there.

Jimmy Abides in the second floor an old administrative building near the harbor of Zeltiva. Once used as the center of some past trading operation, the two story building has since been abandoned with the lower doors nailed tightly shut and staircase down to the ruined first floor long since having gone into disrepair. The upper floor, Which Jimmy Access' Through a well hidden ladder in the back of the building, is in relatively good nick in comparison. It is small but comfortable containing a single bed with a chest sitting at the end, a chair accompanying a small table and a hearth once used for simply warming this small study room which Jimmy now uses to cook.
