The Jamoura are a species known for their intellectual pursuits, but they are also a cultured species, dedicated to the arts as well. They do have little need for the trappings of most humanoid cultures, but nature,guided and nurtured to take the shape desired by the “artist” is something greatly appreciated by them. The talent of shaping plants and even animals is one that few Jamoura posses and many seek after so it is at the Art Center that they are tested and trained in the art of Shaping.


The Center is within the inner city and is a small cluster of tree houses more like a dormitory with a few for classes and some for greenhouses to house the plants needed for Plant Shaping. There is also a Livery for the raising of the insect and animal forms used for the buildings of the outer city. The Jamoura who attend the Center are also chosen by the Alpha just as those chosen to attend at the Hahk'maghtar, the ability to spot those with the talent for shaping is like that for spotting those chosen for the Hahk'maghtar all Alpha's posses it.

Study at the Center is for a lifetime and the artisans there are responsible for creating the wonders of the Spires. They are considered and consider themselves servants of the whole Jamoura community and are revered just as those who study at the Hahk'maghtar for their talent is one that requires knowledge and communion with Nature.

The Center is run by a mated pair of Jamoura named Shthar and Zhara, they are among those Jamoura considered to be the oldest being born right around the time of Marn and their talent is unquestioned.
