Liandra wandered out the gates of Riverfall, enjoying the warmth Syna provided. As always, when she left the city, she had her trusty trident strapped to her back, her soulmist imbued knife in her waistband, and a strand of Spirit Beads cleverly disguised as a necklace. She had snagged an updated flier from one of the studly blue men at the docks, and began perusing the advertisements on it. Down in the bottom corner, it read "Come on down to the Bluevein Winery! Tours only cost 5gm! You can try our many wines at the end! So bring your coinpurse, bring your significant other, bring your kids!"
After Liandra's drunken escapade in Alvadas, she had grown to love wine, but hadn't gotten around to tasting what Riverfall had to offer. She waved as a couple of Akalak were carrying the carcass of some dead creature, and they smiled back at her. She loved how friendly this city was, the beauty, the safety, it was all just perfect. She shouted at them, "Maybe next time invite me along! I could use the practice!" The two men just laughed, as it was evident she wasn't exactly a killer yet. She needed to get back to practicing her weapon sometime, she didn't want to be thrown out of the city for being weak.
She turned and continued along the wall as the advertisement said in the little details, until she came across the ancient structure. She'd never seen anything that looked so old, so ancient. She just stopped and stared, appreciating the old stonework and odd glass. They never had anything like that in Charbosi, and none of the cities she'd visited could match the craftsman ship or beauty. She may not be a builder, but the skill and care taken here was evident. She plodded forward and entered the building, her wide eyes taking in the carefully placed stones, and the many bottles lining the walls. She approached the counter, not seeing anyone right away, "Hello! I saw that you were doing tours here? I was wondering if I could go on one? This place is just lovely."
