Location: Ryker's Point TimestampPlease include in your post. Ryker's Point was a common sight to sailors who travelled through the center of the Northern Suvan Sea. The series of sea spires were a landmark, and they were a guide to the travels of many. The sea spires resembled natural rock formations -- but they were not. They were much more than just that, although destruction and age made them seem as nothing much to the common eye. Liandra, inquisitive as she was, would discover something strange while amidst these strange structures. Resting on one of the flatter rocks above water, she would hear an enchanting and haunting voice of a young woman. The woman’s voice was hollow but sweet as it danced through the surroundings. Nearby, there was a fisherman’s ship tied to one of the other spires. There were two men onboard, and Liandra’s presence was currently unnoticed to them. The younger of the two looked puzzled as he looked around, as if trying to figure out where the voice was coming from. ”Ignore it,” said his companion. ”The guy before you, yeah? ‘E was drunk like crazy, tried to find the woman with the pretty voice, an’ he never came back.” The young man looked dejected, but he forced himself to listen to his companion. But the song continued, as if taunting him. Where the voice was actually coming from, none could really tell… but if one listened hard enough, it seemed to be coming from underwater. |
