While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

She stood up as the girl stood up. There was no shame for a naked body; why should there be? It was only the two of them and either way she wouldn't have been attempting to cover up. She had no idea where she had stored her clothing, anyways. At least, not from where they currently were.

"I apologize." She glanced around. Sunlight was higher now, banishing early morning mist for a more favorable breeze of warm air. It wasn't too hot, yet, but it would get hot quickly, especially because they weren't in Ravok.

She followed the girl.

The Grass Under My Feet

Postby Aello on August 26th, 2012, 11:32 pm

Aello kept on walking, following a trail of flickering lights. That which illuminated a set of tracks. Two crescents turned into each other, their pointed ends threatening to brush. Dotted, as though they were meant to be vowels.

They trickled around a series of trees, forcing the girl to follow their winding path. Walk past a series of low lying vines, and gnarled roots, reaching for her ankles as the animal, presumably a deer, carried over a narrow rise. Her muddied eyes swept over them, as she crouched a little lower to the ground. Taking the time to step slowly, and to that left in animal's wake, so as not to soil them, and ruin the road, assuming she needed to back track sometime in the future.

After a few more chimes spent in circuitous splendor, Aello's magic caught sight of the deer, as did her eyes. She noticed speckled coat, swaying softly in the breeze. Hairs rippling as white tail twitched, and large black eyes glanced at the ground. Neck dipping as teeth tugged at several blades of grass.

Perfect, Aello thought as she licked her lips and hiked her bow up onto her arm. A moment later, she had ripped each of her daggers from their scabbards. Her thumbs danced over wire hilts as she settled behind a tree. Another breath and she had moved aside. Pulled each of her arms back and tossed the daggers, which twirled through the air. Glimmering in the sunlight until they met with flesh.

Tore through, freed crimson red blood which speckled the earth.

One river from the neck, another from the hind leg.

The creature, squealed, and then fell. Aello could only smile knowingly. She had done this too many times before. So, she stepped away. Closer, tightening the gap until everything could be retrieved. "Your lunch," she called, as she moved away, leaving the Kelvic to have her fill. Took a deep breath in through the nose, and out through the mouth before sheathing her weapons and disappearing into the forest.
