“Yes, thats the gist of it.” At her question if he was going to go crazy he didn't need to think for very long. “Of course I am going insane. Its just one of the things a mage needs to make his peace with when he starts out on that road.” Coren shrugged at that, not really seeing a problem with that fact anymore, sane or insane, it didn't really matter much in this world anymore anyway.
When she asked him why he decided to learn magic or if it was born with it he felt a headache coming on. She really didn't know anything about magic.
“I learned it because I always was a curious person who wants to know how the world worked and how everything fit together to form a seamless whole. I wasn't about to let fear and the hatred of the masses get in the way of learning how one of the biggest mysteries to us all worked. Insanity and being an outcast is just a small price to pay for that.” Coren said in a steadfast tone, he was hurt because what had happenend, that was quite obvious, but he still found it an acceptable price for what he had learned. “And no, nobody gets born with magic, unless its a gnosis. Its a skill like any other, you need to put in time and effort to learn it right.”[/frame]
