[Quasar's Scrapbook] It's About That Time

Um, Ahem. Cough.

Strangely enough, the font above is called lobster. I don't know where the relation to crustacean delicacies comes into the picture.

Anyway, Scrapbook! People seem to start their scrapbooks by telling people a bit about themselves. Okay, I can totes do that too. So uh, I like to draw a lot, it's kind of my thing. I usually listen to a lot of electronic music and oldies, you know 20's-70's kind of deal. I'm going to be an art student starting in September, and yes, it sort of freaks me out. A lot.

I have already revealed too much! Instead, I'll tell you fantastic internet people that I plan to be posting music and mizahar-related sketches and such, and of course your occasional rant about life. I know how to complain about a great many things, it's almost as though I've been trained in the art.

And to all of y'all, you may post whatever you like! Songs you think I might like, cool art, funny things, all of it. I openly welcome critique if you're up for that kind of thing, as long as it isn't straight up flaming.

Quasar!

Its called lobster because its mimicking the Red Lobster logo font used in the popular restaurant chain in the US.

Ah! How enlightening. I looked it up and there's one in Savannah where I'm going, and now I'm totally going to check it out when I get there XD.

I sort of got really confused, laughed a little and then got really confused again when I saw this image:

Howw, howww can something be so pretty and soooooooo wrong. You'd think if someone actually went through the trouble of designing something nicely, they'd get their facts straight. These instructions are so far from the target, I don't even. Well. I sort of laughed a little when some people in the comments were wondering why when they tried the recipe, it didn't exactly taste like Moroccan tea.

Anyways, dunno why I thought this was worth sharing. Maybe just to warn my Mizaharian buddies that if you ever stumble across this image, stumble on. stumble on.

2 - No, seriously. I grew up here.
3 - For the love of all that's holy, don't go to Red Lobster. There are about a million actual local seafood restaurants in this town. I can suggest many.

No, I'm being totally serious. That school, Savannah College of Art and Design. I'm going to crash that party. Also crashing all the diners.
