Race Banner Physical Description Name: Race Banner Race: Human Age:21 Birthday: Winter,3, 490 AV Character Concept Banner who prefers being called by his first name Race has set his goal in life learn medical procedures and to help those in need with the aid of his imaginary friend “Tanner”. A unseen entity with whom he often converses. Popular topics of conversation include books, Pycon sexual reproduction, medical accidents, and of course the events at hand. Race is an expert in the medical field, a skill he uses in the world to help save lives. He has done some extremely amazing medical procedure over the years and he is more than happy to share the stores with little thought as to how objectionable the gruesome details may be to others, or how inappropriate they may be to the current situation. Such as graphically describing the removal a shard of metal from the bowels of a man while eating lunch with his friends. His mental state is difficult to pin down. He describes himself as “eccentric,” though he may very well be insane. His mental state was likely the result of the traumatic deaths of his parents. It was immediately following this event that he first began talking to Tanner who has been with him ever since. Regardless of the cause Banner can conceal many of his quirks so as not to alienate himself from strangers. Such as talking to Tanner without moving his lips too much and not always divulging his reasons for doing things which stem from his Tanners ideas. Race is also obsessed with certain rituals practicing a unique form of divination using coins, discussing medical topics with Tanner by himself, always introducing himself in exactly the same manner and searching his dreams for clues to his life and where he needs to go. Character History His parents died when he was very young and traumatized him however with Tanners help him get past the incident. He was adopted from the orphanage by a elderly healer who's wife could never bore a child and wanting someone to carry his legacy taught Race in medicine. Race went out on his own and has had a extensive medical career thus far trying to constantly develop new theories and explore aspects of medicine that few others would dare to go. With his wits and medical knowledge and good smile he can get most people to trust him however it is slightly frayed due to his bizarre habits. Though most who have been fortunate enough to have them as a friend or doctor are thankful for his insanity and eye for detail which has saved many lives. Sometimes not charging patients for care nor seeming to really understand how money works or perhaps not caring he lives in a small apartment and travels about following his dreams. Each hallway is lined with torches which are kept lit at all hours of the day, allowing for light and giving residents free access to something to light their hearth from. Great character sheet, Race! I very much enjoyed reading your character concept & history. I've just listed two short notes for you below.

• Lores: As they are, both of your lores are too broad and seem more like skills. Please distinguish by making the knowledge more specific, such as “using an eating knife as a scapel” (or something of that sort). Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about this, as it can be tricky sometimes.
• Other Notes: We’re asking that all character sheet thread titles match account names. It would be much appreciated if you could edit your thread title to say “Race Banner” rather than “Race Banner CS.”
  
  • You write that, “Race is an expert in the medical field, a skill he uses in the world to help save lives.” Please keep in mind the limitations that your character has with his Competency in Medicine. He is not yet an expert (this comes at 51 points).
