The Lady's Lap Nestled back in the more modest part of Ahnatep, almost encroaching the Pillars of Dust, rests the Lady's Lap. This is the inn which caters to those less concerned about social station. Foreigners, travelers, those of modest means or suffering from the stigma of disgrace, and even criminals will find an open door. The name is both an homage to the Lady of Ahnatep and the owner's idea of the best place to rest one's head. While it lacks the opulence and grand architectural magnificence of the temples and palaces, or even finer inns, like The Emerald Peacock, it provides comfort, shade and sustenance to its patrons. However, even a rumor of staying here can instantly drag down one's social standing. A simple building with a second story, The Lady's Lap has an adjoining stable for its customers’ convenience at little additional cost. There are a variety of optional services, and prices include daily meals for the duration of your stay. Payment is in advance and prices are reduced for long-term stays. One of the optional services is a bathhouse, which is not actually a separate building, but a room off a common area with three large, semi-private booths. Each booth contains a large tub, with a plain stone shelf for toiletries, which are available if you have none of your own, and cloth towels. There is a common hearth and several iron buckets for heating water brought up by the inn's maids. This is not the same water used for cooking, but it is suitable for bathing. Pricing :

Sabaf
Age: 60 Race: Eypharian Gender: Male Occupation: Owner/Proprietor of The Lady's Lap Sabaf is unlike most Eypharians in that he has come to enjoy the company and cultural differences of foreigners. His is still fiercely loyal to his city and his Pressorah, but does not share their snobbish attitude towards the “lesser” peoples that stay in his inn. This is both the result and the cause of non-Eypharians being, by far, the greater percentage of his customers. All who treat Sabaf with courtesy will receive it in return and can count on his discretion in regards to their pursuit of entertainment. He keeps two maids that double as tavern keepers, two guards, and a stable boy in his employ. There is occasional turnover in these positions so employment is sometimes available for the season.
