17th of Spring 410 A.V

It was one of those days. Those days that you get when you've finally gotten some free time from a busy schedule, and spending it in the house was going to drive you mad. So he needed to get out and do something useful with his expertise. Eventine had decided that he would go out and try hunting game.

A useful practice he should have adopted a long time ago since he uses a dull moving human body descent. Surviving happened to be one of our best traits. Utilizing use of his Reimancy for practice on game was an excellent idea in his book. Learning the use of the bow would take far too long for it to be effective, but its a practice he would pick up once he found a way to get game in the first place.

So he found himself outside, with his simple clothing on. Nothing fancy for him yet since he was going out in the Wilderness anyways. He thought he'd keep it safe and try to stay on the outskirts. Since he was sure the bigger creatures lived towards the center.

After getting his supplies in order, he set off into the forest outside the city. He kept up a medium pace, he didn't necessarily think that his attire was going to really hinder his tracking process so he went in as close as he was willing.

Wherein he came up on a rabbit that was out next to small opening near some trees. He saw some tracks but he couldn't exactly see if they rabbit made them but what mattered was the he saw him, Eventine didn't have to track the rabbit. Bagging himself a rabbit early in his hunt would have made good findings.

He crouched and began to inch closer to the rabbit that just seemed to be fidgeting like natures tend to do in the wild. A he started to release his Res, in his hand, a fireball began to form. The Reimancer took aim and fired with precision and speed. The fireball connected head on and charred the rabbit almost immediately.

Within that same second, an arrow whizzed by where the rabbit was just at, and embedded itself into the ground. Confused, Eventine followed the trajectory of the arrow. It went back to a poised silhouette standing. It was still daylight but the exact angle it was hard to tell what it was at first.

Then it changed angles so that it was turned towards Eventine, and he could clearly see a shadow pulling its arm back as it had already cocked back...an arrow. As realization started to take effect the Sahova wizard stood up and was about to put up a friendly two handed gesture in the air to say he was a friendly. When another arrow shot by, this time mere inches away from the left side of Eventine's head.

That snapped him out of the movement and he ducked backward as soon as the arrow shot by. His shields weren’t up against this type of stuff.

Another fireball willed itself in his hand as he stood up back towards the tree.
He was thinking to himself, I am really not trying to kill this guy but he's pushing his luck. So he echoed his thoughts before the two entered a deathmatch,"Cease fire, I am a friendly. I mean you no harm!" he shouted.
Waiting a few seconds he heard no reply, so in good faith he peaked out with his hands in the air as he once was doing, but another arrow planted itself firmly into the tree he was standing behind.

Cursing loudly, Eventine retreated back and created another fireball in his other hand. He had to protect himself, when this man saw no other reason. He might have been one of those few humans who have decided to stay on the island that didn't like magic users. He couldn't blame them. They were dangerous, unfortunately as this strange man was about to find out.

He jumped back out into the line of sight just as the man already had another arrow cocked. He released both fireballs at the person shooting. He also reacted at the same time, firing his arrow. The arrow flew by the fireballs in unison, the arrow shot on towards Eventine.

A Wizards duel could go by extremely fast, especially if you weren't a wizard. But in the world there are many variables in a fight to the death. Obviously the man was much more talented with a bow then Eventine had anticipated, and the arrow found its way planted firmly in his right shoulder. Though already dead the pain was still there and the force of the blow sent him flying onto his back.

The pain was more irritating than anything, as soon as his bearing was coming back to him, he sat up and looked at his adversary, he also seemed to have gotten hit, and was groaning unpleasantly in pain. So your still alive. For now. Thought Eventine as he covered his wound which was leaking ichor. He had some ichor in his pack already that he had drawn in another engagement in another body. His ichor would never be wasted.

Which was what he was doing now, he brought out the waterskin he would never use for water. Only for purposes like this, he stood up and let the wound bleed slowly from into the waterskin. He dare not remove the arrow yet until he had it patched up so he wouldn't lose to much of his precious ichor.

He moved slowly over to the man, a fireball coming to life in his hands just in case, and to his surprise he wasn't dead. And he looked like a regular human and hunting like so many of them did. But their was hatred in that mans eyes, for what reason unbeknownst to him. The hunter had been a clean hit as well, but down in the center of his chest. He had been aiming for it and was glad he hit him before he could draw again.

Eventine began to become irate with the man, he knew nothing of hatred. You had to live for as long as he did to grasp that picture. "You have put yourself in a predicament."

The man looked up with his tortured look and uttered back, "Screw...you. I know what you are, you smell of that disgusting existence called a race."

And he rolled over to reach back to his fallen bow, and to quickly retrieve an arrow from his quiver. But Eventine jumped on top of his back. He bellowed in pain as the deadly burn on his chest was crushed in with force. He wasn't that heavy but injury was severe and sensitive. So Eventine pinned him down and said, "Yet you still move to kill me. I have done nothing to you, yet you keep fighting to end my life. I think it only appropriate that I give you a reason to hate me. "

The man locked eye contact with the Nuit as it said those last few words. Yet that anger he had been hoping to test, seemed to jump a few levels in his eyes. To some extent he looked like he had indeed lost hope. Perfect. Eventine took the waterskin of ichor and jammed it in the mans mouth. He held his head steady with some aid on holding the mans jaw using Projection.

He forced the rest of the ichor down the mans throat to his displeasure. Once the waterskin was finished he brought out another vial of ichor and stuffed that down as well. The man had attempted to gag on it but Eventine was keeping his head at the proper angle to manipulate him.

They sat there for some time, with the Nuit making the man drink a substantial amount of his ichor. Which was needed for the purpose Eventine wanted. There were some consequences in making a Nuit sometimes. Uldr always aware of new Nuits. Eventine at least wanted to make sure the man died with hatred in his heart, a perfect tool as a Nuit. Something a god like Uldr could use for his benefit.

The man went still for a moment. Eventine got up and collected his things. He would need to find a new body to change in. Luckily he had a spare in the dungeon he was living in, until then he would have to keep the arrow in but burn the edges off so he could be more maneuverable.

He would leave and then return. If he was gone upon his return, then the man had become something he has always hated. His hate would take long to dissipate. If he was there, he was dead.

Eventine did return. And he was gone. The Nuit would find Eventine one day. But face retribution in the eyes of his god.

Additional:
I am afraid this thread is not worth any points, because it does not follow any of the magical lore at all. Please go back and reread the Reimancy and Projection articles, as well as the article on the Nuitification process. There is a lot more involved than simply jamming ichor down someone's throat. Once edits are made I would be happy to come back and regrade. PM me if you have any questions.
