The Akalak started on his lesson to her, well them he guessed, his words putting some form to what he was not able to tell him bondmate. For this he was happy and thankful, though he still did not like the man. There was a moment where, brief as it was, the Akalak tried his hand at humor. Even if the joke was funny by human standards, it would be lost on the Kelvic who possessed no sense of humor and very rarely laughed, making the situation more awkward. The Kelvic listened as Xalet continued on, describing the way a ride communicated with their horse, and how this would apply to Sahashkalila and not using any tack for the moment. This was good and he was thankful again for having Xalet explain one more in a way he could not. As he wrapped his his preliminary speech before getting down to business, the large man extended his hand towards the Kelvic, his purple hand open and waiting as he introduced himself. Stigandr looked at the hand before him, listening to a list of titles rattled off in a way that showed the Akalak had said them plenty of times. He did not know what the words meant, though he understood the hand was a greeting among humans, not always good but not always bad. He debated not shaking the man's hand, but swallowed his attitude in sight of his bondmate and extended his hand, the purple and slightly tanned white hand contrasting as much as the two men's personalities did. "I am Stigandr, bondmate and husband to Sahashkalila." He said the words calmly, but with the heavy undertone that he was making sure this other male knew that Sahashkalila was his in every way, that he should not make any mistake to think he could make an advance on her and it be okay. Stigandr was protective of his beloved, having finally found what all Kelvics longed for, and he would not let anyone danger her or threaten that. At Xalet's prompt, Stigandr shifted into his horse form, shaking his mane, shaking the long black hair out fully. |
