Renalee Nickname: Ren Race: Kelvic (Puma) Age: 1 year and 2 Seasons (Appears 19) Birthday: Winter 510 AV Physical Appearance Human Form: At 5’4” Ren is a little bit on the short side, but certainly has the presence and the temper to compensate for it. She has long sandy-blonde hair that reaches almost down to her waist and curls in loose ringlets towards the end. Her green eyes have a certain feline quality to them and are the only thing that can remind one of her animal form, aside from the slightly elongated canines. She has high cheekbones, a straight nose and a mouth used to smiling with a small dimple on her left cheek. Her body could be described as petite. She has long, slender legs with well developed muscles from all the running she does in her animal form. She's thin overall with a rather pale skin, despite her constant exposure to the sun Ren has a long white scar from the end of her jawline down to her collarbone which she acquired the first time she had to fight for her life. It’s a reminder both of her own mortality and of the amazing feeling of rushing adrenaline she is capable of experiencing. Animal Form: In her animal form Ren still retains her smaller frame and with her her 77 pounds and 6.3 ft. nose to tail length is below the average for female pumas. She has yet to grow however, something which she is very much looking forward to. Her fur is rather soft and retains the colour of her hair, more golden than the species usual tawny. She retains the typical lighter colouring on her belly and chest. Her eyes also stay the same colour as the human Ren's. The bright emerald is what has sometimes betrayed her as a Kelvic when in this form. She has a long tail with a lighter spot at the tip and well developed hind legs perfect for jumping and climbing. The scar on her neck remains as a straight pale line that isn't covered by fur. Character Concept Renalee is a wild spirit. Stubborn and opinionated she loves taking risks and ‘living life to the fullest’ for which, like many other things in life, she has her own definition. She can be very playful and childish in her demeanor but makes for a tough opponent when angered and a vengeful enemy that never forget any crimes committed against her or those she loves. The blonde’s a loyal to a fault friend, but her loyalty is hard to win and she’s picky when it comes to companions. She’s just as picky when it comes to mostly everything else and has quite the temper to her - once a particularly strong emotion overtakes there’s no stopping it and in the case of anger it has an explosive and dangerous effect. There's a certain innocence to Ren and the way she sees the world which can be attributed to many different factors, including her father Zalek's overprotectiveness, her nature as a Kelvic and the lack of experience brought on by her young age. It really doesn't match the side of her that is a predator, but somehow she manages to embody both the ruthless cold-blooded killer and the child who looks at the world with wide, impressionable eyes. The Kelvic has no proper grasp on what 'good' and 'bad' is the way humans understand it, despite the time Zalek has spent teaching her the subtleties of morals and human interactions. She mostly understands the theory behind it all, but has a hard time relating to it and applying it to herself. Character History Ren was born in Sunberth on the 7th day of Winter, 510 AV to a Human father and a Kelvic mother. Her mother was killed shortly after giving birth to her whilst trying to protect the man who was both her bonded and her loved one. Her father took over raising the blonde girl and taught her how to take care of herself, how to fight and how to survive both in the wilderness and in a dangerous place like Sunberth. The man also strived to teach his daughter to be as independent as her nature would allow it and to think for herself. While Renalee felt attached to her father she resented his insistence that she remain without a bonded for as long as possible and couldn’t understand the reasoning behind that desire of his. She couldn’t shake the feeling that she was ignoring some greater purpose of her life and that there was something constantly missing. As time passed she grew restless and wondered around Sunberth on her own, often managing to get herself into a sufficient amount of trouble. One night, soon after her first birthday Ren used the cover of darkness to sneak out of her home and head out into the Wildlands. She wanted to get to Syliras, convinced that the thriving city about which she had only heard stories would be able to give her the thing she had been searching for all her life. Possessions   Clothing Tunics (5) All made of worn, soft material, either linen or cotton that can be ripped with ease if Ren needs to shift while still wearing them. Two are white in colour, two are green and one is dark blue. All are long, reaching down to her thighs Pants (2) One black and one dark grey in colour, both pairs are very comfortable and fit the girl rather loosely without being in the way of her movements Outerwear A dark-green cloak with a golden-colored edging. It has a big hood that can reach down to cover her eyes Belt Supple black leather with a couple of holes she's made on her own so it could fit her at different times Shoes Black boots made out of soft leather. They fit perfectly and are incredibly comfortable and light, but are often stuffed in her backpack as she prefers to walk barefoot   Toiletries Brush Made out of wood and with marks indicating often usage it has a leaping big cat that was engraved by her father Comb Wood, barely used Soap White in colour, unscented   Weapons   Others Backpack Waterskin Dried herbs wrapped in cloth Roll of white cotton fabric Eating Knife In terrible condition as she uses it to throw at targets and practice her aim Flint & Steel   Heirloom Dagger Given to Ren by her father who wanted her to be able to fight and protect herself in her human form as well as she could in her animal one. It's a small, well-balanced blade which fits her hand perfectly and she can wield with ease. The handle is wrapped in a black leather stripe to make hold more comfortable.
