Just needed a quick thanks to everyone in Syliras and everyone on chat for being so great at helping out a new player. Y'all are friendly and eager to thread and making it easy to keep coming back here.

I'd like to give thanks to all those people who have welcomed me into the site and into their plots. PC's and ST's alike! You lot have really made me settle in here and plant roots that I wasn't sure I would when I was intimidated in the beginning.

Everyone in RF has been amazing and while I had originally planned on Alaia traveling I see no leaving the RF soils anytime in the future now because of how much I enjoy it here.

Also the amount of player's I've linked Alaia to or will be linking her to that are not even in RF is amazing and I like to thank all you as well!

And Goss for just being darn awesome in driving my plot with Alaia and because Alaia and Kavala have such a great relationship!

I wanted to give a heart felt shout out to Voodoo who is currently just owning being Taloba's AS. She's written an amazing military article, becoming a wiki article master, grades like nobodys business, and is really bringing the city to life under her care. I couldn't ask for a better ST to work with in Falyndar .

Also I want to thank the graders that stop in from time to time in Falyndar's grade request forum, its always a pleasant suprise when you do and it's always appreciated.

I have a lot of shout outs in here today. First and foremost, thank you all the new DS's that stepped up from their AS positions to take on a whole host of new responsibilities. You guys are great. We needed the help and you answered the call.

Secondly, but definintely not less important, is the thank you's I owe to our two Regional Storytellers. These guys BUST THEIR BUTTS helping out both in the help desk and in their regions. The Iyvess Plot that Traverse brought forth has united the game once more. And Mirage is absolutely owning it recruiting and restaffing Kalea in a manner the region has never seen before.

Finally, the graders deserve a shout out. Thanks for keeping up all the grades you do game wide. Without you, the ST's would still be dropping off right and left of fatigue and hopelessness.

I know that grading is Syliras is more difficult with the Shield Points system in place and that some avoid grading in Syliras because of it. That you took up the challenge means a lot to me and the players that you graded for! Keep up the good work, and please enjoy the fruit of your labors.

I haven't been the best of caretakers lately, with my work schedule being what it's been this month and my life being all kinds of crazy. So it hit me particularly hard knowing that someone like Tyler who was so flamboyant about actually who he was slipped in and got right back into position. In reviewing the logs, I should have seen it a mile away. There was lots of bravo, the same old bullshit plotting, the same luring in rejects to form circles against the world. And of course he was unoriginal in his originality so that too was telling. Everyone who knows him can tell you a hundred ways why without a doubt when this announcement came out it was utterly believed. You can't fool the pbase who has some experience with bullshit. They can smell it a mile away and spot it from afar. And today instead of being upset like I was last night, I've decided to put the spotlight where it belongs and issue some thanks.

Thank you to all the people who love this site and protect it as fiercely as I try to do myself. Thank you for stepping forward and stepping up, leaving yourself vulnerable in case you are wrong, in order to do the right thing. Thank you for listening to your gut, your heart, and trusting your instincts. It's been my experience they are rarely ever wrong.

And if you were friends with said person who caused all the drama in the last 24 hrs, let this be a lesson to you. I know you don't truly understand how much of a predator this person is and how big of a bullet you just dodged... but you did. And you dodged it because someone else was watching your back and had your best interest at heart.

Please thank him. Even if I don't give a name out (which I won't to the general pbase) I hope all of you thank him in your own way and however you can. He deserves a nod, a tip of the hat, and some virtual hugs for having a spine and sparing you untold grief. He cares. I hope you realize just how much.
