73rd of Summer, 512AV The Ravosala set onward at twilight, and arrived at her usual destination as the sky turned dusk. Backpack in hand, Nyctea stepped out of the boat and onto firm, foliage-covered ground. "Gorm, you wouldn't mind bringing back a rucksack, would you? I plan on bagging a couple extra for the Market. You're welcome to come by sometime hun~" The Ravosalaman blushed as Nyctea leaned over to peck his cheek. "Meet me at the far end this time, right at dawn" She waved goodbye to her good friend, stepping back and away from the shore. Nyctea momentarily reminisced upon the first day she'd asked the man to take her to The Wildlands. It had taken her a good deal of pleading, bribing, and a certain bit of femininity for Gorm to agree. Without him, it wouldn't have been possible for Nyctea to spend full nights on her own, hunting to her heart's content. Her parents were satisfied with this decision, since keeping her at home would've been far too dangerous. But Nyc knew they were worried for her. The look in her father's eyes when she'd told him of her plans tonight, had been difficult to walk away from. They knew it was useless to try and stop her; they'd learned to trust that their baby would be fine on her own. Nyctea was more than fine. She was in her element. Pupils dilated as darkness fell, while walking deeper into the woods. Finding a familiar spot, Nyc crouched low and removed her backpack. Her eyes swept the surroundings to make sure she was solitary. The garbs were slipped off and folded away in the bag, which was then buried and covered. Hair down and fully nude, Nyc sat on the ground and leaned against a tree. I can't stay here like this forever, though I do feel so comfortable. That irritating feeling at the pit of my stomach, yearning for a companion... is lessened here. I'm alone. I'm free. I'm ... *grrrowl* ... famished, I suppose. Time to get moving, then. Iridescent lights encircled her entity entirely, dissolving her human form. In it's place now, an owl flew high. Higher and higher, then deeper and deeper into the shadows of the night. Nyctea landed on a branch, then swiftly jumped from tree to tree, until she reached the outer edge of her first clearing. Perched in her roosting, Nyc slightly shifted a bit to the right, placing herself behind enough darkness and vegetation for complete camouflage. There, she waited. __________________________ Hm, not a sound, nor a motion for several chimes now. I can't wait for much longer. I'll have to scare them. !~Whooo, hoo-hoo-hooz, whooo~! |
