Relevance to WR: Food source, recreation The Cherry Grove is a common spot for dates and picnics, especially in the Spring time. All year round a sweet smell is in the air, and cherries are ripe during the late Spring and early Summer. The trees seem to form a perfect circle, with roots intertwining and forming hollows beneath seemingly solid ground under them. They could provide easy shelter in times of dire need, but no one has ever seen someone living there. It's believed that someone planted them so close together, but no one can remember when they were planted. The trees are the only known trees that grow Kima cherries, which are very sweet and make delicious pies. It's also the only known habitat of the Chakama bird, whose song is almost as sweet as the cherries. The whole grove has a romantic air, with the sweet scent of the Kima trees and the song of the Chakama birds. It's said that the entire grove is blessed by Cheva, and that just the area promotes love. Even in the winter, the cherry grove is a beautiful sight, with the Kima trees almost like dark silhouettes against a white sky. Even then, the scent of Kima blossoms fill the air, despite the obvious lack. The Chakama still sing their sweet song all year round, making this a popular spot no matter the season.
