Kavala stood in the cleared out circle with the vaulted ceiling. She slowly turned a circle, lifting her arms wide, absorbing the fact that the circle was finally complete. She'd removed stone and had a terrible time figuring out how to do it in such a way as to get a perfect circle until she'd employed a stone nail, a loosely looped string, and played it out walking in a circle smoothing the wall further and further out until her chamber had achieved the enormous roundness that she wanted. It was here, in this temple, that she'd place a tribute to the Gods.
She wanted Rak'keli honored of course, Eyris too, and Nysel as well. Each God would have a statue and an alter set on the wall, none more important than the other, none more prominent. Kavala knew too that it would be prudent to honor Wysar and Akajia beings that this was there territory here in Riverfall as well. There would be room for more too, if others wanted to pitch it alters. Her job would be to simply create the small stone structures and statues standing up against the walls honoring the deities. She also wanted stonework put into the floor with the quarters holding stone stands for candles and a center stand for anything that it might be needed - cauldron, more light, table. She had a budget for the project and had spent the money wisely for the supplies, including tiny little statues of the deities that she could make larger for the wall decorations.
The first thing she needed to decided though was now to pattern the floor and what color of stone she wanted to produce to pattern it. So she sat down, right in the center, and began to meditate on the process, deciding who should be placed first, what should happen second, and what sort of pattern work she wanted on the floors, ceilings, and walls.
