Matthaus looks young for his age, sinewy and obviously a mixed-blood. His Symenstra heritage is obvious to any who know of the race, he is usually sickly looking with a swallow baby-face, awkward limbs and lighter than he looks. He is not exactly an attractive child, his face is freckled, his lips very small and he rarely smiles. But what attracts people are his eyes, a luminous purple that seem to almost glow in the dark. Usually hidden by an unkempt fringe of black hair, highlighted faintly with purple, at first glance people mistaken him for a ghost. "Not that honest, kid." Character Concept "Don't worry, kid. I've got you covered." It is not easy to describe Matthaus, the mentality of child mixed with the experience of an adult leave him impaired. Childish notions are over-run by what is needed to be done yet he cannot do anything alone. He is skittish and untrusting, a person used to being used and beaten both literally and figuratively. But not without his good traits Matthaus is nothing if not adaptable. In any situation he will try to read peoples body language, their tone and mannerisms so that he can be what they need and get what he wants. A survival tool but nothing else for this habitual instinct buries his true personality more often than not.

Raised in comfort he was happy until he parents went on a regular caravan trip and never returned. Orphaned and... “Wait, wait. A large one but everyone helps out and is able to properly go about their lives. His family consists of several people and some he hasn't even met. Him and a few of his elder siblings have decided to move to Zeltiva for schooling purposes.
