Gavin Physical Information Race: Akalak Birthday & Age : 481AV - 31 Gender: Male Languages Kontinese- Fluent Common- Basic Tukat- Poor Physical Description Gavin stands 6' tall and weighs 190lbs. His skin is a dark blue in color, and he has golden/yellow eyes. Hidden under his shirt is a long scar that runs from his left shoulder to the right side of his waist. His hands and feet are pock-marked with small scars, criss-crossed all over the place. Character Concept Gavin: Being an Akalak, Gavin spends a vast majority of his time honing himself to peak physical and mental condition. As such, he spends very little time in the company of others, and when he does, he tends to remain silent, and observes those around him. When he speaks, he's polite, and calm, almost always the voice of reason. Karan: Being the "other" soul, Karan is almost the complete opposite of Gavin. He's outspoken, rude, and very rarely thinks before he acts. Although his current goal is to take over the body and keep it, on rare occasions, he actually seems to make peace with his lot in life and remains silent. Character History Gavin was born on Konti Island, in the Opal Temple, to a Cerulean father and a Konti mother. He grew up on Konti Island, being trained by his father in Unarmed Combat, while his mother, Avina, taught him compassion, the healing of animals, and how to observe the world around him. When he became aware of his second soul, Karan, at the age of 13, he told his parents, who cautioned him to be wary of the other soul. His father, Morgar, who had given in to his darker soul at a young age, but had balanced himself with help from Wysar when he met his wife, began to train his son to keep the other soul suppressed, so that it would not take over. Unfortunately for Gavin, he only had 4 years of training with his father. At the age of 16, his mother, at the age of 215 years, died, leaving his father crushed. A year later, when Gavin was turning 17, his father died, leaving Gavin without parents. Luckily, the members of the Opal Order allowed him to stay at the Temple, where he continued to learn about various animals from them. He has, very recently, thought about leaving Konti Island, and traveling to Riverfall, where he can learn more about his fathers people. He is currently staying at the Opal Temple, given special permission by the members of the Opal Order to stay for a time.
