I am New here and I was wondering I want to add magic to my skills can I do that and if so can I see a example of a beginning "mage" character skill line or just a character that has magic in its skills

Hi, I'm a new player and I'm working on developing my character. My character is a ghost (formerly human) and it would be helpful for me to know the extent that he can interact with material objects? He is a writer/scholar, and I know he needs assistance to learn skills, but does he need it for solitary skills such as studying or reading? Is it possible for him to open books or use pens to write? This also worries me in terms of how he will pay for things, if he cannot handle money.

I am currently working on my CS, Im pretty new to this so thought I would double check with someone :3

I would like to add a Composite (Recurve) ShortBow as my characters Heirloom, though I noticed in the Mizahar Price list that this is set at 75 GM. Even though the Heirloom is to be restricted to a value of 50 GM, would it be at all possible for me to add the Shortbow as an Heirloom?

Any help in answering this little query of mine would be very much appreciated

Hello Ethynia! Welcome to Mizahar,

In answer to your question: sort answer, no.

Long answer, you can have any one starting item up to the value of 50gm - there are several range weapons choices which are 50gm or less, including a normal shortbow (valued at 30 gm) as opposed to the fancier composite/recurve/whatever you may call it short bows. The same rule applies to everyone across the board - no exceptions made. If you wish to have a 75gm composite shortbow, you will have to purchase it and subtract the full value from your ledger.

On a different note, as I did only a light sweep, can you please remove the .gif/moving images from your CS - while not stated in the wiki lore itself, the founder Gossamer has personally requested that such images are not on site - see The Founder's Public Service Announcement for more information.

Can you use pictures you find on the internet for your character? I didn't see any rules about the photos on here, but I may have missed them.

If the character is a Kelvic and I want to choose the travelling pack, do I still get a horse? I don't know if that would cause trouble between the two animals especially if the Kelvic is a predator animal.

One more it says Kelvic twins are rare, do I need to get special permission for that? If I don't would the twins need to have the same animal or could they be completely unrelated in that area?

Yes. As long as they adhere to Mizahar's T&Cs (So no pornography, nothing explicity, crude, derogatory, inappropriate, etc).

The starting package choices are the same across the player base - so if you choose the travel pack yes you get a horse of a value of 200gm or less - see the horse lore for a full list of breeds.

Special Permission: I don't know, I wouldn't think so. Same animal, your choice. However, if you plan to have a Twin that is a Personal NPC (Non-Player-Characters) you will have to apply for them on the help desk. A guide outlining how to do this along with the information on the types on NPCs can be found here.
