Physical Description

Humanoid Form

Veena is pretty short, standing a little over five feet tall. Her skin is fair and she has a round face. Her eyes have vertical slits for pupils, which her eyes are also green. Veena's hair is also a black color, which is the same color as her fur in cat form. On the top of her head, her hair also sticks out in two spots, taking a similar shape to cat ears. Her hair reaches down to her mid back and is usually messy since she doesn't really care about her appearence that much.

Veena is also thin as she doesn't have much muscle. Even in this form she still has some more cat likes aspects. Her canine teeth are sharper and slightly longer than an average persons. Her nails are also sharp and slightly long on both her hands and her feet. Even when she's in human form she's still very quick and agile. She is able to jump fairly high and can usually land on her feet. Veena also has good reflexes like a cat and will flinch at the slightest movement if she isn't paying attention.

Like other cats she can also see in the dark fairly well. She will sometimes also make a cat like yelp when either injured or startled. Veena also posesses vocal coords similar to a cat. She is capable of making far more noises than the average human can. Some of the noises she is able to make involve purring and hissing.


Cat form

When Veena is in cat form she mostly just looks like an average house cat. She is about the size of a small to average sized cat and is fairly skinny. In this form the color of her fur is a blackcolor. There are also lighter stripes going down her back and her stomach fur is white along with her paws. Like in her human form her eyes are green and slitted like any other cat.

Personality

Carefree

Veena is a very carefree person. She does not get affended that much by others and will usually just shrug it off, most likely due to her submissive nature. She will become sad and sulk though if insulted by her current master. Veena also loves to meet new people and will try to get to know them better and play with them.

Loyal

Veena is also a very loyal person. She will try to follow any command that she can from her current master or the closest thing she has to one. She will also try to defend anyone she likes but will become scared because of her cat-like nature. She will also feel very sad if someone that she likes is hurt or wounded in any way and might try to help them out.

Society

Veena does not know that much about normal society. She was never taught to read, write, or even about trading. Like a lot of other Kelvics she also is not as smart as the other races she as listens to her instincts more than feelings. Veena does though like to watch people bargaining and trading as it isnterested for a time.

Ethnics - Veena relies more on her instincts than morals. She will happily follow anything her current master wants to do.

Likes - Milk, Masters, People, cozy places, beds, being patted on the head or scratched behind her ears

Dislikes - Fire, Water, Loud Noises, People who are mean to her or her master, cold weather

Strengths - Good reflexes, agile, can see easier in the dark, claws, fangs

Flaws - Easily startled, scared when seeing fire or splashed by water, natural dislike of canines, urgs to chase small moving things.

Character History

Past

Veena was born among two Kelvics in an average household in Syliras. She was also born as a feline Kelvic opposed to what her parents were. Veena like a lot of other Kelvics was considered as a pet and servent. She was taught to please her masters and help them out when needed. A lot of the time she would live like a housecat, even when in her humanoid form. Veena was happy with the lifestyle she currently had.

A few months passed and it was then time for Veena to help out more than just being a pampered pet. Soon her masters made her start doing chores and helping around more. Her parents had been sold away by this time and Veena was the only Kelvic in the houseold now. She missed her parents but it was i her nature to help and please her masters, not her parents.

Around the age of one, her current masters began to have a finnancial problem. They had lost their money drasticly and could no longer afford to keep Veena. Soon they had decided to get rid of her but they didn't want to tell her that. One day when Veena was in her cat form, they collared her so that she wouldn't be able to shift back into her human form. They then tied her to a pole by an alleyway and provided a box for her along with some ragged clothes to lay on and told her they would be back for her later as a cover up.

Veena would wait for her masters to return not knowing that they were never going to return to her. As of now Veena is surviving on scraps of food and water people sometmes provide for her out of pity.
