[Inclement Weather] Reach for the Skies! (Aidara)

Postby Niro on November 12th, 2012, 2:44 am

He allowed the Endal to lead him on through the dark corridor, though he didn't really have a say in the matter. If there was one was to invigorate the young hunter about something, Addy had found it. A grab to the thigh, unintentional or otherwise brought forth a welcome moan and a grin which was likely missed in the shadowy conditions. This could be a different kind of exciting, he supposed. Not good. Just different. Yet this was their, no, her choice.

Just like that, they stopped. She'd clearly hit her toe on something, her hand releasing his and grasping for her foot. "Why don't you watch where you're petching go..." A loud thud cut him off, as he squinted and looked down, trying to figure out what happened. An impressive show of swearing left Niro chuckling as he bent over to offer his hand. Whoa. Bad call. When she didn't take his hand, that was the moment he realized just how messed up he was. A small bend turned into a gentle lean, which turned into a dangerous sway. "Shhhhyke." Niro dropped to the ground just as he heard the woman insist they hurry. With closed eyes, he crawled over so he could push a shoulder against the wall for support. There we go. He began to crawl along the ground, giving chase after the drunken, uneven pitter pattering of the glorious Endal who led him after phantom screams. "Eyes on the prize!!" He yelled, the exclamation echoing down the corridor after her, though he wasn't sure which one of them that was for.

When he caught up to who he assumed was Aidara, he made use of her legs to pull himself, sliding a hand up her rear and back to rest on her shoulder as he leaned forward to peer over and see what she was talking about. "Slow down. You're running to f-" Smack. Smack. Smack. It shouldn't have been surprising that he was met with that, but the slaps annoyed him to no end. The were certainly lighter than he was used to.

She leaned forward, and that meant he did as well. And when she took off to see the crying woman, Niro did not, crashing back to the ground. "...Thanks. I'll just stay here." What was this all about, again? Oh well. "At least there's a light to crawl towards," he muttered, again sliding along the ground in chase. Addy's words echoed through the cave, and suddenly everything felt like they were underwater. Niro had to blink a few times as he was sure he saw a rather large purple fish swim by. "Aidara!" He yelled, continuing vigilantly towards his goal. "Aidara!" Finally reaching her again, he once again pulled himself up, face to face with her as she spoke. He simply nodded in response. There was something he'd wanted to say, but it was gone now, washed away with the aquatic creatures floating around him. "...'kay." He squinted, leaning closer to her, their face maybe an inch apart. "What are we doing again?" There we had it. These two were perfect for the job.

Hidden beneath her own haze of alcohol, the stench of Niro’s breath, his face pressed so closely to her own, didn’t even faze the little woman. In fact, she seemed to swoon a bit as he bent close to her, her hand fluttering to his chest as she gripped the hem of his bryda (more for balance than anything else, but neither of them seemed keen to point this out.) With parted lips and his breath washing against her in heavy pants, Addy could hardly restrain herself. There was another kiss in their future and perhaps more if they could find their way to the floor without hurting themselves.

The fates didn’t lie with them, or didn’t want them to lay together, for just as Addy leaned in to smoothly trap Niro’s bottom lip between her teeth, the process of teasingly tugging it as she leaned backwards was interrupted by the clearing of a nearby throat. Blootshot green orbs met his own gaze and rolled towards the ceiling before his lip was released and a sigh was puffed out between them. “Yeeeeeees?” Drawing out the word, Addy slowly turned to face the formerly sobbing woman who now sat crouched on the floor watching with an irritated twist to her lips.

“It went that way.” Another jab of her finger pointed the drunken pair in the same direction as moments before, her words slow and loud as if they were just plain stupid. “Scared the shyke out of me and I think you should-“

“Yes, yes yes.” Cutting the woman short, Addy shook her head and held up a finger for silence. “Aware of that, thanks. You’re ruining our process. Can’t you see we’re clearly tracking the… beast?” A glance at the woman’s face told Addy she was correct in assuming it wasn’t a human of any sort. “We’re professionals. Leave us be.” The delicacy that Addy had comforted the woman with only moments ago was completely gone now, replaced by a sort of exasperated weariness.

Keeping her fingers hooked securely in the young man’s waistband, Addy turned and, with her nose up in the air, marched passed the woman they were attempting to save wih her nose in the air, her steps as purposeful and decisive as she could manage while weaving back and forth, just barely avoiding bouncing off either wall. Another kiss missed by bare inches. “Come, Niro. We have a city to save!”

Once the glow of the light left them behind, Addy stopped short and Niro, who she still pulled along behind her, was brought down to her level with a hand on the back of his neck, lips lifted to his ear so that she could whisper softly into it. “Now that we’re all allOOOOOOOOONNNNNEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” With her sexy murmur turning into a wild shriek, Addy practically threw herself into the unsteady mans arms, climbing back up his frame much like she had earlier, but with sense of frantic urgency that couldn’t be faked. “Oh my god, oh my god. Something touched me. Something touched me

Burying her face into the crook of his shoulder, Addy continued to whimper and shake, her nails biting into Niro’s exposed flesh from the force with which she clung to him. “Did it eat my legs? Can I walk? Am I crippled?! IT BIT ME! I’m going to die.” With the alcohol to lubricate her already intense emotions, the shock of whatever-it-was brushing against her quickly escalated into something much more. “No wonder she was crying. That thing was terrifying! You have to go get it! Before it gets someone else!”

Noticing how Niro wobbled even as her stood there holding her off the ground, it only took a chime or two of focused silence for Addy to make the hard choice. But it had to be done. She would have to be left behind. He couldn’t support her and slay the monster all at the same time. “Just leave me, and go yourself!” Trying to slither from his grasp and collapse into a half-sobbing puddle on the floor, Addy put a hand to her forehead and turn her face away. “A sacrifice must be made to catch the monster… just…. Go… Save yourself.”

Taking his hand in hers and looking up at him with a very serious, tear streaked face, Addy closed her eyes before intoning “Save Wind Reach, Niro.”

Was she positive there was only alcohol in that glass?

[Inclement Weather] Reach for the Skies! (Aidara)

Postby Niro on November 30th, 2012, 10:31 pm

Niro once again found himself lost in Aidara's lips. It was annoyingly inconsistent. One moment she would make the Avora lose his mind in desire, and the next she would pull away, leading him on some stupid adventure through the caves. Whatever was going on, it could wait. The way her hand kept grasping at his bryda. Oh yeah, this was happening right now. Niro was prepared to guide them both to the floor in a tangled heap when the stupid woman cleared her throat.

Aidara dismissed the woman thoroughly and again they were off. "Seriously. This is ridiculous. Why don't we just have at it, and we can hunt this imaginary creature later? You'll be impressed by how quickly I can declothe myself. I promise." If he had the okay, Niro would have kicked off his bryda in a blur, and just for a moment he thought that magical moment he desired daily was going to come true. They'd left that whiny woman behind, and even the great Endal was bored of her tiresome whining. So something scared you. Boo freaking hoo. He grinned wickedly as she pulled him close to her, whispering seducivly in his ear. At least for a moment. Then she turned into a banshee. Niro recoiled, trying to pull away from the shrieking harpy, even as she buried her nails into his arm.

The young hunter watched Addy as her words and actions spilled into a stream of dramatics. Sobbing, and telling him to go. Was she stupid? He wasn't there to be a hero. He wasn't there to slay a monster. He didn't give a damn about the screaming woman. He was accompanying Aidara on the notion that they would soar beneath his sheets. No. Petching. Way. Was he going to leave her behind. Slowly, he knelt down besides the weeping Endal. "Don't be stupid," he directed, reaching down to run his hands along her legs, his impure intentions barely masked by his words. "Where did it touch you? I don't feel any blood, and both legs are there." He emphasized her legs existence by squeezing her inner thighs with both hands. "See? Now pull yourself together. Jeeze."

This woman was insane. Niro wouldn't tell her, but he was a fan. She didn't stop him from doing what he wanted to do, even if she was a bit much on the emotional side. They needed to move, though. If there was something vicious around this place, it needed to be dealt with. Yet when Niro went to stand up, he found himself with a problem. Too much to drink. Too close to the ground.

"I...I can't move."

Gods this whole night was stupid.

Addy was simply too far gone to notice the subtle groping’s that Niro slipped in under the radar, sighing with relief when he confirmed the existence and wellbeing of her legs rather then pulling them out of his grasp and looking affronted. He wouldn’t be able to see the swipe of her hand across her brow when she sagged back against the stonewall, but she sat there for a tick or two with her eyes drifting closed until she grew suspiciously quiet.

It was Niro’s plea that woke her, causing the woman to sit bolt upright and choke down the instinctual squeal at being woken so suddenly. Managing to keep quiet after only issuing a rather choked sounding gasp, Addy felt around until she was able to grasp the young man by his shoulders, attempting to drag him towards her without avail. It took more than a chime for Addy to stand upright, and when she managed to find her feet, she was hardly more steady upon them then a toddler; it would be a miracle for either of them to make it back to their rooms tonight.

Using what little leverage her unsteady stance gave her, the little healer managed to bump and drag Niro along the floor a few paces, grunts and exasperated noises accompanying her effort. “We’ll get you out of here, Niro. I won’t leave you behind.” Repeating this over and over as she pulled, Addy kept her tone at a level she thought was comforting and reassuring, though her words were hardly discernable between the slurs; if she was lucky, Niro would know drunkenese.

Making pretty good progress down the hallway and feeling quite good about herself, Addy slumped Niro against a wall and slid her back down it as well until she was seated at his head, her own leaning back against the stone as she caught her breath. A few moments of silence between them was ended by a spurt of giggles from the little woman. “Stop that.”

For a reason unknown to her, Niro was tickling her hand, causing Addy to snatch it away and cast a stern look down at the man despite her laughter. Tickling was never funny. If the little woman had it her way, it would be an executional offense. “It’s seriously not funny. I just dragged you from here to Zeltiva. Why would you tickle me? As thanks?” Huffing and turning her face away, Addy crossed her arms over her chest and proceeded to ignore the young man. Until she felt a tickle along her side, that is.

Jumping nearly out of her skin, Addy swept a hand down to snatch his hand and catch him in the action. However, her fingers closed around something furry that immediately betgan to squirm as her fingers locked and imprisoned it. With her reflexes dulled, Addy lifted her unexpected prize to her face so that she could peer at it blearily, her shock fighting furiously against the alcohol in hopes of warning her before it was too late.

But with no luck, for the woman lifted the big blue and hideously ugly mouse only inches from her nose. Her reaction at first was to hold her breath as her green orbs widened to their fullest extent as the stare-off continued, the rodent struggling viscously against her grasp. It wasn’t until the shock broke free of the alcoholic haze that surrounded her mind, adrenaline slamming into her system and accompanying the blood-curdling scream that ripped from her throat. Almost quicker than the eye could see, the hand clutching the rat snapped towards Niro as she flung the mouse away with a force that could not bode well for the poor creature. “GET IT AWAY FROM ME OH MY GOD SAVE ME SAVE ME SAVE MEEEEEEE!!!”

From further down the hallway, the crying woman chuckled softly to herself as she knew they had found the culprit.

[Inclement Weather] Reach for the Skies! (Aidara)

"Not so fast, you stupid woman! Imma throw up! And you sound disgusting! Stop with that petching grunting." His stomach churned as the stupid Endal started dragging him across the ground, all claiming that she was saving him. Her words blended together in an indiscernible mess. Or maybe she was speaking absolutely clear, and he was the one that couldn't be understood. "Shut up. Shut up. Shut up." They both repeated their phrases at one another until they slurred into nothing but near moans, their alcohol infused investigation turning into more of a comedy routine than anything successful. This was all her fault, clearly.

"Shtop what? Dun't be stpuid." He leaned his head back hard against the wall. He wanted to react in pain, he knew it hurt, but his body just slumped there, a waste of flesh and bone. "I'm not doing shyke!" This woman was crazy. Hot. Sexy. Gorgeous. But petching crazy. He wanted to do terrible things to her. Terrible, terrible things. Forgetting his own upset stomach he started to lean over to try and plant another kiss on the Endal's lips, but she shouted at him again. Tickling her? "I'm not tickling you! Did you do more than drink?" Clearly she'd been enjoying some puffers or something, too, because she was feeling things. "The only thing I'm going to touch you with is my ginormous -" Before any vulgarities could escape his lips, he saw it.

It was blue.

It was ugly.

It was furry.

And it was coming right at his face.

"WHAT THE PE-" He could feel the little toes twitching in his mouth, dancing across his tongue. Niro gagged, nearly expelling a stream of booze and bile, but the mouse freed itself and began a trail down Niro's body. He scowled, the tiny feet sending shivers of disgust through his frame. "No you don't, you little bastard." He dove forward, wrapping his arms around the blue creature and hitting the ground to try and pin it. "You're the reason that I'm not petching this woman over here. What do you have to say for yourself?" He berated the little mouse. It replied by biting him and wriggling free of his grasp.

"LITTLE PIECE OF SHYKE!"

The heroes of Wind Reach at their finest. Proud. Drunk. Useless.

“Kill it kill it kill it!” Laying boneless against the wall, Addy had quickly deteriorated from the semi-“lucid” state that she had maintained up until now; it was barely a chime between when she was heroically saving Niro’s life and slipping into a booze induced doze. “Grossgrosssgrossssssss…” The little woman seemed to be muttering in her sleep, twitching every so often but otherwise slurring the word in a barely audible murmur.

Niro was left to deal with the rat-thing on his own now as Addy slipped into a peaceful world of alcohol induced dreams and long spans of absolutely nothing, not rousing in the slightest should Niro try and wake her. Disheveled and caked in whatever filth lined these darkened hallways, Addy laid spread eagle on her back, an oblivious little smile on her face while she slept.

In her dreams, it was different. She and Niro lay on clouds, high above the ground, naked as the day they were born and only barely covered by helpful, snow white wisps of the stuff that conveniently made everything decent; the little healer had to be drunk if her dreams were being censored. Wine and fine cheese lay between them, the both of them laughing and nibbling on the treats while they talked of small things, life, and peace across Mizahar. Both of them were extremely worldly and had no end to the topics they could discuss, and even argue about. They laughed, they cried, they loved.

And then Addy woke up in her own puke. “Oh. My. God. Oh my god, ohmygod ohm'god o'm'god!” The slow, disbelieved cry quickly escalated into a disgusted squeal as Addy began scrambling upright, though her arms and legs stoutly refused to cooperate and instead sent her crashing to the ground only a few inches beyond the disgusting puddle of mess, the little healer fought down another gag. “What the petch is this…” Confused, Addy tried once more to get her arms underneath her to push herself upright; her muscles protested loudly, her arms shaking widlly as they fought to bear her weight, but after a moment it all paid off and she was able to collapse back against the wall, upright.

The hem of her shirt was the only thing clean enough to wipe the mess from her face and not leave it dirtier than it was before, but even that wasn’t a concern for the little woman right now. She had no idea where she was, and light was beginning to stream in from the open end of the hallway; somewhere in the distance, voices of those early risers were starting to drift on the early morning breeze. Had she been here all night? How had she even gotten down here? The last thing she remembered was pulling the handsome boy out of the Weather…

“Uh… ” Great. She didn’t even remember his name. “...Boy? Are you here? Are you alive?” Right, cause that was just a brilliant question. Fighting the same battle as before, Addy clawed her way up the wall as her legs wobbled beneath her, eventually steadying and bearing her weight. Not trusting to let go just yet, Addy half pulled, half walked down the corridor, calling softly enough that it would not attract unwanted attention as she searched for the man she knew had been in her presence for at least a moment or two the night before. “Hello…? Hellooooooo?”
