Veldrys' House
Veldrys’ house was located in a somewhat secluded spot, away from the other homes, hidden behind thick branches and green leaves. The people of the Spires had been more than welcoming despite the unfortunate circumstance of his race, but he just wasn’t ready to be surrounded by them at all times. When he left Nature’s Nurture, he preferred to be by himself. Despite the Spires’ reputation as a safe haven for the less popular races he didn’t entirely trust them.
The small home would probably have seemed like an architectural accident to all but those that lived in the Spires or in Kalinor where strangely shaped buildings hung from the ceiling. It had entirely too many corners and odd angles, and the floor wasn’t even. It was made of wood in a shade of brown that made it blend in with its surroundings. There were two windows, facing eastwards so that the Symenestra would be woken by the rising sun. They too looked a little mishapen, but completely right to Veldrys.
Inside the house was decorated with silk, a small reminder of Veldrys’ distant home. Silken curtains hung in front of the windows, and the walls were decorated with silk as well. The small building was divided into several different areas, a bedroom, a living area and a small space where he talked to those that wanted to meet him in his home to receive their treatment or learn from him.
