Closed To heal the plague.

[Nira'lia]; In which an ethaefal and konti tries to heal the plague with herbs, potions, medicine, and a huge dose of luck and "what am I doing?!".

While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

To heal the plague.

OOCOh Luke, you sneaky little thing. :P

Just like every time she had a vision, Nira’lia’s eyes went unfocused. The visions flashed before her against her will. Most of the time, the Konti didn’t understand her visions—especially when it wasn’t her choice to see them. And when she didn’t understand them, she usually brushed them away, and they were forgotten almost instantly.

But not this time. She couldn’t understand the images, but the feeling of familiarity was heavy. She couldn’t explain it, but at the same time, she understood it. And she recognized the other person there—there was no denying that.

Finally, when everything was gone, a look of utter confusion was displayed on the Konti’s face. Then there was realization. Since she didn’t know that he had remembered as well, she was unsure of what to say.

Her Konti gift was activated by touch, but it only happened the first time—and she had already seen his memory, she was sure of that. This was something else, a vision brought on for another reason.

“Uhm…” she muttered as she gave him a weak smile. “Maybe it’s not just our future that’s tied together… could be our past, too… a past that even I’m not aware of. I don’t know. I’m not making sense. I’m sorry.”

The Konti gave a sigh. The Gift of Sight was from her Mother Avalis, and she was sure that each one had a meaning behind it. A significance.

“We knew each other… didn’t we?”

To heal the plague.

Nira's touch was like the activation spark that began the whole reaction, and even as she fell back in surprise the same visions assaulted Eri's mind as well. As she went into a brief, trance-like state with the visions, that same series of images flickered past Eri's mind as well, turning his eyes a cloudy white like that of misty clouds covering the moon.

Except that it was a different view. While Nira'lia saw a conflux of images all centered around different bodies and attires but the same soul, he was seeing the very same series of images if they could somehow compare memories. The background, the scenery, it was all the same, except slightly different due to a difference in perspective. He also saw different people, different clothes, different faces, but inherently the same soul.

That of Nira's.

In essence, when combining both their visions together, they were seeing a series of visions from various past lives in that exact same instance when they were looking into each other's eyes, except that in the perspective of their various souls. They were both men in some, both women in some, one or the other in the rest.

Somehow or another, they were linked, whether in the past or the future.

"What-what sorcery is this?" The scholar exclaimed when the visions were over, the cloudiness in his eyes fading to normalcy as he sought the konti's eyes in return, curious to see if that same sense of recognition hit him just like it did while stricken with those images.

It did.

NOTICE: I am currently mostly inactive til August. As such, guild activities are temporarily halted (watch out for major revamps, changes and organizations when I'm back in full force). Any activity with Eri will be rather slow as well, but I am slowly readjusting back to "Mizahar life", so to speak, so do PM me if we have a thread that I left hanging and we'll talk.

To heal the plague.

“What do you mean what sorcery is— you’re the mage here, you should know!” replied Nira’lia, laughing. She was accustomed to the visions for the reason that she had been experiencing them since the day she was born.

‘Mother Avalis, what is going on?’

Nira’lia was quite aware that he didn’t have Avalis’s mark, and she was curious to know as how he would have been able to see what she had seen. But that didn’t really matter at the moment. When she finally decided on what was important at the moment, she relaxed herself and appeared to be deep in thought. Her lips curved to a frown as she thought about what had happened, and how it was connected to the other odd things that had transpired.

“I suppose we finally have an explanation as to why we keep crossing paths. Seems to be something beyond us,” mumbled the Konti, referring to her own Call and to other events that had occurred in this lifetime alone. She could hear her own mother clearly in her mind, the person who had told her that their chavi was tied. The Konti couldn’t understand it at the time, but it made more sense now. “But… uh…”

The Konti laughed uncomfortably. She had absolutely no idea how to approach the situation.

“I don’t know what to make of this. I don’t even know what it has to do with what’s happening to you!”

Her voice was mixed with utter frustration. She stared at him with adamant eyes, as if depending on him to come up with an explanation or a solution. Anything would do, even a suggestion as to how they could solve all of this.
