Srath Name: Srath Race: Jamoura Sex: Male Age: 463 years Birthday: 3 Fall 49 A.V. Physical Description Srath stands at 8.5' feet tall with a shoulder width that spreads a hands' width over 4', weighing at 568 pounds. His face, which has no fur on the front of it, holds green eyes that are reminiscent of the forest from which he was born, and they hold an intelligence and wisdom that seems pooled deep inside this large creature, waiting to be tapped into. His mouth, which holds the long incisors of his ancestors, is closed most of the time in thought and slow replies, the curve of his lips often neutral or turned into a thoughtful curve. His arms are long and reach down past his waist when he stands as a human on two legs, his hands (and feet) ending in short claws. His body, minus his face and front of his torso, are covered in a light brown fur that is short, but sufficient covering and warmth for this massive creature. Character Concept Srath was born shortly after the Valterrian and the changes that happened to his race. Though he did not experience the same awakening into awareness as the Jamoura know now, he is not completely ignorant of how life was before the Valterrian. He has heard stories from the elders of his race of how life was before the transformation, as well as the memories some have from earlier times when the Jamoura were hunted by humans. Like most Jamoura though, he does not hold on to the past and is not controlled by past wrongs and atrocities, but instead dedicates his life and pursuits to scholarly knowledge and wisdom. He has set out from his home in search of greater knowledge, seeking to learn from other races as well as continuing his mediation to learn from his past lives. His mouth is slow to speak most times, though his mind is constantly turning. He will often question why people take the actions they take, almost always just curious and wondering what motivates them in life as every race except for Kelvics and Jamoura are vastly new to him and leave many things to wonder about them. His pursuit of knowledge is every evolving and taking on new shapes in the form of a new discipline he wishes to learn, from studying the stars and maps to wanting to learn how to care for animals and Kelvics so he may take care of those around him if the need arises. Character History Srath spent most of his life in the Spires with the rest of his race, isolated and hiding from the rest of the Post-Valeterrian world, pondering life and the changes his race had undergone, as well as meditation and seeking the memories from past lives. It was not until around 487 A.V. that Srath felt the tug to leave his homeland of The Spires and to head into the world seeking knowledge and wisdom that he could not learn from The Spires. (This will be filled in as I flashback to different years and places, each place being marked and tagged to the thread.)
