Ethan greeted each in turn as they arrived. He noted Tallis's punctuality and Gale's appropriate clothing with a nod of approval. Perhaps his pick of recruits hadn't been so dismal. His choice of candidates, along with the strange note left on his table at the Kelp Bar, had left him on edge all night.
Before he could answer Ignotus's question, Tallis thought it best they all introduce themselves. He kept quiet as they spoke, appreciating how smoothly things were going. "Anything to add?" He turned to the Nuit and smiled politely, not wanting anyone to be left out of the meet and greet. |

The undead, who had been listening quietly to the less-than-impressive group of gentlemen and examining the grain of the table, looked up and smiled when Ethan invited him to speak. "I am Ignotus, a wizard of some talent in various disciplines. A Reimancer by trade, with a little dabbling in other disciplines on the side. When we have a suspect, I will likely be useful enough in apprehending him."
Of course, he didn't mention his actual purpose: making sure that, whatever happened, he would not be impacted, nor did he mention he was a Hypnotist. They didn't need to worry themselves, now did they? Nor did he mention his analytical abilities. That would have just been haughty, and really, wasn't it better to show instead of tell?
Setting his arms down on the table and drumming his fingers against the back of his hand, Ignotus waited for the briefing proper.

A thousand thanks to Phoenix for the gorgeous blue frame, and a thousand more to Edreina for her beautiful magic-themed one!
