The Night Tower is Akajia's earthly dwelling and said to be her place of rest during the daylight hours. The Tower itself has three lofty heights, two of which act as support structures for the third main mast of stone. One side tower is for the acolytes, another for the priestess' and contain the private quarters of each. The central tower holds the functional meeting spaces and not only Ajakia's Chamber but the High Priest and Priestesses quarters. Ground level there is an elaborate foyer which spills out into a large center of worship called The Hall of Secrets. While the tower does have a great many rooms and chambers that vary in form and function, the true gift the tower is the enormous catacomb of halls beneath it which serve as the secret locations for all of Akajia's rites. This sprawling underground works is also the home to the Irst. If you're lucky enough to gain entrance, everything you need will be in plain sight, that is, if you're one of her devoted. Akajia guards her secrets closely and without a priest or priestess to guide you, the halls are infinite and cloaked in eternal shadows. She is Mother Goddess of the the Akalak peoples and considered Mistress of the night. Akajia embraces the night, shadows, darkness, secrets, and stealth. Her most devout worshipers are a small, elite group called The Irst. The columns and walls are a deep shade of rich carmine illumined by the neatly spaced braziers. Looking skyward, you'll notice her three symbols. Gleaming dark blue and obsidian triangles and new moons grace the lofty ceilings of Akajia's domain. The tower does allow visitors and does allow folks entrance wishing to speak to the High Priestess and accept her comfort and wisdom on various issues in their lives. The Goddess' children know she is neutral and not evil, despite her enshrouded secretive nature. After all, every woman likes to be a mystery. You'll find that all of the temple doors are unlocked and in plain view--if you can see through the dark clinging shadows. Although her manner is honest and forthright, she creates more questions than she answers. Salana is a persuasive woman with a silver tongue, while her sister Annaka is a more direct and commanding personality. Together they make an ideal High Priestess for they can not only discover secrets, but keep them for eternity as well.
