Waiting around in nasrin';s room felt srange...rather...foreign even. The smells teh jars everything wan't wha the was accustomed too. Eveerything smelled too..."nice". Xi was more used to the punget smell of death blood sweat, he was a fighter, and brought up in a world where everything around him stank of rotting this was a complete contrast, and one he found almost too much for him. Still Xi sat in the middle of the floor silently until, a certain familiar face rolled around and begun speaking to him. Are you petching serious right now ? How ? I mean nice work but HOW ? How what ? How did you manage to convince her to be naked around you ? i mean you damned near broke her ribs and almost smashed her hip. Yet she's less than four feet away stark naked ... How do you do this ? get out fo control i'm taking over Liro wanna play!. Oh no. Liro your not taking control right now i'm sorting this out, i caused the issue and now i'm trying to fix it. I hurt her and now i'm trying to help. the moment he gets out of that bath. I'm taking her to the healers, i'm paying for anything she needs. I caused the problem i'll ay for my mistake... And this is why i'm still here your too easily manipulated, and by-far too much fun. Kepp that body safe...Liro wants some fun later on...

Shaking his head Xi pushed out all traces of liros influence before standing and glanceing around the door.
" Are you alright ?" He was expecting to get yelled at but it was just him trying to make sure hse was alright, still he couldn't stop himself from almost glueing his eyes along what he saw in there and the image of her prior...That would be stuck with him for a long while to come... "Tell me when your ready, as i'm going to take you to the healers, and dont worry about money...I'll handle that, this was my fault and i'll cover the costs on all fronts..."

Getting an ear-ful ( saha, nasrin )

Postby Nasrin on October 21st, 2012, 3:35 am

A hiss left Nasrin's painted lips as she sank further down into the heated water, steam curling lazily from its surface, carrying the herbacious scents of her healing mix into her nose. The milk in which the oils had been diluted turned the water cloudy, swirling around her bruised skin as if it wished to lift the offending marks from her skin and carry them away into the water to disappear. Gingerly she ran all four hands across her frame, checking again for any signs of injury she'd missed. As her hand skimmed her left side, she bit back a growl; even the lightest of touches caused a twinge of discomfort. Inhaling as deep as she could without irritating her rib, she breathed in the smell of the essential oils to let their healing go to work.

Nasrin was not one to let a bath go to waste even if she was in large amounts of pain. Reaching up, she undid the pins holding her exceptionally long hair in place, the dark waves tumbling down into the water and obscuring most of her figure. Cupping her hands she brought the fragrant water to her face first, rinsing the residual sweat and the remains of the small trickle of blood from her skin. This also unfortunately removed the mica dust she colored her eyes with, as well as the red paint upon her lips. She would not have the energy to apply them again before she went out, she suspected. Unfortunate. Again she repeated the action, this time spilling the liquid over her crown, letting it soak down to her scalp.

"Are you alright?" came Ximal's voice, reverberating through the walls with its harsh tones. She did not yet spare him a glance, as she was in the midst of running her twenty deft fingers over her scalp, rubbing away the traces of grime that clung there from her day.

"Tell me when you're ready, as I'm going to take you to the healers, and don't worry about money...I'll handle that, this was my fault and I'll cover the costs on all fronts..." that made Nasrin sit upright in the tub, a frown tugging at her lips. She was not keen to be seen with her face unpainted, skin as naked as a newborn's, but she would set him straight.

"I do not need your money, foysha. Is an insult to accept it. You may take me there, but not pay. Understand?"

Getting an ear-ful ( saha, nasrin )

As Xi;s mind sank back to a calm state after the incident and he began to just take the weight off of his shoulders lightly, the voice came back snapping at him like a whip, lashing at his guilt as if he was under another set of masters and this was his punishment. Still he listened at the end of her sentence his face revealed a hint of anguish. He hadn't meant to insult her all he was trying to do was be himself and be a man. he'd done something wrong and he should have had to pay. Lifting his eyes up from the floor slowly like a sulking child, the hard dark black blue eyes of his bore straight into her own dark eyes. Something akin to a child and a man now sat within his eyes, the remorse and acceptance of him doing something wrong, as well as his honor dictating that he should do something. However the child within was simply wanting to just throw a tantrum until he got his way with this.

"Alright, if you do not wish for me to pay then i wont. even though 'human' courtesy says that I should pay because this was my fault." Shifting in his backside as he sat on the floor he decided now might be a good time to rise up and speak to her, not from a loft position but from his honour bound one. As he rose his gaze dipped a little and that bruise caught his eyes again...Any other time it would have been her chest that caught his eye, but now all he was seeing was his mistake...Grinding his fingers together at the thought of what made him do that his resolve hardened, though his voice remained soft and low. "Tell me when you are ready to get out, i'll help. Right now i feel that there is a lot i need to do to apologize full to you. So i'll help you however i can...And that i'll never be fully able to say sorry for this..." shuffling his feet he looked way from her, not out of bashfulness but out of anguish. He didn't wan't to think about the root cause of his current anger. Every time he did he could feel his blood boil and his djed almost completely fill him like a hurricane of power.

Getting an ear-ful ( saha, nasrin )

Postby Nasrin on October 22nd, 2012, 12:40 pm

Nasrin huffed and rolled her eyes at Ximal as he sat and sulked. Such a typical male, she thought. She supposed that some things were no different across races. Men always acted as children when they didn't get their way. Turning away from him she returned to scrubbing her hair; there was a considerable amount of it after all and it took some time to clean.

"So sensitive! Wipe frown from your face, does not become you."

The steam carried her voice to him, made more mellow and soft than usual by the heat and the lavender's relaxing properties. Her tone lacked its usual bite and the order came across more teasing than anything.

The length of her hair finally clean, she wrung as much water as possible form it, then twisted and braided it quickly with well practiced fingers, before securing it with a small leather tie she kept around her wrist. She attempted first to lift herself from the tub by the strength of her arms alone, but the soreness had set in and shaking, she was forced to give up and lie back. She would have to accept Ximal's help to get anywhere at the moment.

"Aaish, very well. If you must. You may help me dress and carry me to healer."

She gestured to the clothing discarded on and around the bed, as well a rough towel that the innkeeper had provided for her use. She eyed said towel with distaste, as it was scratchy on her delicate, precious skin, but she had nothing better to be dried with. She felt like a little girl, holding her hands out to be plucked from her bath and dried before bedtime.

Getting an ear-ful ( saha, nasrin )

Stretching out his chest he kept his cloak hung up on the chair in the corner of the room. Thinking had become a favoured pass time of his since in the spires he had to do something other than be permanently paranoid. Then her heard her voice again cut though him but not like a knife this time there was something more playful than antagonistic there. Was she being kind ? Xi shook his head he'd never fully understand women. Not of any culture, race or faith. They were ll just too mystifying for him to even start to comprehend. Shaking his head he replied in a somewhat similar fashion.

"You've lost the forked tongue, I must have done something right to take the sharpness out of your voice." A small smarmy smile crept back onto his face in place of the usual impassiveness. he peered his head around the bathroom door again in time to hear her say that she wanted him to help her dress and to cary her to the healer. Right now he flet like something of a simpleton but still he'd try to be helpful as he could. Slipping off his vambraces and his gloves, he then took his shirt off not wanting to completely drench himself whilst lifting her out of that rather fragrant water. Slipping his arms beneath her he bore her weight easily before hauling her gently out of the water in a more princess-esque lift. The water parted slowly as her frame rose through it. Sifting out over the her body as he hauled her out being very mindful of where his hands were placed and being very light of touch Shifting her weight in his arms carefully he moved her into the crook of one arm before reaching for the towel to drape over the bed before setting her down slowly buttocks first onto the rather scratching towel.

"I doubt you want to be manhandled by me any more than necessary, so whilst you dry off i'll collect your clothing. That and i'm not exactly the most delicate of people."

Getting an ear-ful ( saha, nasrin )

Grey eyes narrowed as Nasrin watched Ximal remove his upper clothing, slipping off gloves, vambraces and shirt to presumably avoid wetting them with her bath water. A prudent move, but it was not his partial nudity that caused her attention to sharply focus on him; it was the littering of scars and especially the brand on his chest, though it was obscured mostly by more recent burns. She knew very well what the wounds of slavery looked like, having owned several herself over the course of her lifetime; this man, while clearly not a slave now, had been one at some point. Very interesting. She would file this information away for later, as it could perhaps become useful to her at some point, especially depending on his attitude towards the entire concept. If it was a subject that caused him much anger, it would be exceedingly simple to use Hypnotism to incite wrath in him. But that was best saved for another time.

Water clung to her skin as he lifted her carefully from the water, a good deal of it sluicing from her frame onto Ximal, transferring a bit of its scent to him. She winced, displeasure clear on her face as she was set upon the infernal towel, and she set about drying herself as quickly as possible so as to avoid undue contact with the thing. She accepted her clothing from Ximal, who seemed to be somewhat bemused by the entire idea of women's garments, and dressed herself as best she could; this meant she would not be wearing much more than her simplest linen pants and top, but she would likely have to take them off at the healer's anyways.

Nasrin's appearance was much different from when Ximal had first seen her; without her eye and lip paints, and without the more elaborate clothing, she looked much more like the fresh-faced young girl, and less like an exotic temptress.

In an echo of her earlier gesture she held out her arms to Ximal, so that he could carry her as he wished.

Retrieving his own clothing whilst nasrin dressed gave Xi time to reflect upon the scars that littered him like canvas of history. Almost every scar he bore was for protective reasons. making sure he took them so someone else would not have too. Slipping on his vambrace his fist clenched tightly. He needed to learn how to be more than just a weapon. And he was learning, but this incident had proved to him he still had a long way to go. Slipping his shirt on he pulled his hair back and out of his face. He slipped his cloak back over and around his shoulders. Picking up nasrin like a small child he carried her out of the tavern and towards the healers. She was going to give him an ear-full for this...And he didn't mean nasrin.

"I'm taking you to a healer whose a friend of mine...And she's probably going to give me an ear-full too, so your not the only lady i know with a forked tongue..." His shoulders slumped he knew she was going to tear his head off for this, still it was better to take her to see saha than to see any of the other healers as she knew, what Ximal was like better than most of the people there. Sighing heavily he stopped outside the healers door before rapping his free hand across it hard and fast but with a slight shake of nervousness. As if standing out side the headmasters office at school, just knhowing it was you who did it and you've no excuse.

Getting an ear-ful ( saha, nasrin )

"No, he needss to be kept elevated, the congesstion will ssettle and feel heavy in hiss chesst if not,"she said briskly to the young Jamoura female, looking over a Kelvic man who had come down with a rather severe cold. Winter was beginning to settle in the Spires, a prime time for colds to begin to break out, and some severe cases of it too. "Move him to a private room, and once there I want you to heat ssome of the ssmooth sstoness in the fire. Then once they are hot enough, but them in bowlss of water. The ssteam should help alleviate ssome of the congesstion in hiss chesst." The young female nodded, beginning to bundle up the feverish man to take him to a private room. "I will be back within the bell to ssee if there iss any progresss and bring hiss medication ass well,"she said before heading out of the room, heading towards her own room to see what she could possibly make for the man....and grab a quick meal.

Once making it to her own room she shut the door, grabbing an apple and some bread  and setting them on her desk before beginning to rummage through her medicine bag, picking up herbs and muttering to herself before placing them back into the bag and picking up another. She could only have been in her room for a few chimes before she heard a rapping on her door, causing her to look up from her work and glancing at the door. Perhaps there had been a sudden change in the patient? Deciding to eat on the way, she grabbed the apple quickly and took a bite, heading towards the door and opening it. What greeted her at the door.....was not what she had expected.

Ximal stood in the doorway, carrying a rather beat up Eypharian woman in his arms. Bruises seemed to litter her body, and Kalila's eyes widened in surprise, both from the situation and the fact that she was seeing another from her homeland. Surprise quickly turned into anger, wondering what exactly was going on. "Why iss it that when we meet, mosst of the time you are bringing me ssomeone injured?"she asked in controlled tones, turning around and taking another bite of the apple before tossing it back on the desk, then removing her medicine bag from the bed. "Well get in here and put her on the bed. I asssume that there isss an explanation behind thisss.....I want to here it." It was not a question she was asking, it was a demand. Her voice clipped as she wondered what he had gotten into this time, and wondered why the woman got involved with him in the first place.

Getting an ear-ful ( saha, nasrin )

Postby Nasrin on November 1st, 2012, 4:22 pm

Nasrin wrinkled her nose as Ximal described her as having a 'forked tongue.' She wasn't sure what the phrase was supposed to mean in Common. The idea that she had a snakelike tongue meant little to her, as she could not think of any negative implications to the condition; snakes were an everyday part of life in Ahnatep, both in the wildlife and in the Danhi. Was he implying that people with snake tongues were somehow more likely to be harsh? Something to ponder later.

She huffed impatiently as they waited outside the healer's door; she was not at all looking forward to some Jamoura prodding all over her with their animalistic fingers. How could they be clean enough to heal anyways, with all that fur?

Imagine her surprise, then, when it was not an ape that opened the door, but instead a young woman. Well, young for her race; all it took was a glance at those golden eyes, and the way she moved her body, to know instinctually that this woman was a Dhani. She was likely no older than a hundred and fifty years, if that. A flood of nostalgia and familiarity took over Nasrin for a moment, so glad to see someone from her homeland that an extremely rare smile took over her face, though it was puzzling; healing was not a profession the Dhani usually pursued.

The elongated hiss of the healer's S sounds was like a balm to her ears, and she didn't even pay enough attention to take joy in the angry scolding Ximal was receiving. As she was set upon the bed, she greeted the healer with the customary curling of her lower hands, addressing her by her profession as Eypharians were wont to do.

"Mistress Healer, I am Nasrin re Ihsan, of Ahnatep. Is there nest nearby I not know about?"

Getting an ear-ful ( saha, nasrin )

Postby Ximal on November 1st, 2012, 4:38 pm

Waiting outside of the door for kalia to answer reaally started to eat away at his confidence. It was like one of those times where when something has gn wrong and you cannot give any other explanation bar the truth and even that will get you yelled at. That's not to say that kalia was a mean woman she was more like a mother thn anything, which was why getting the disapproving tone from her cut deeper than any knife ever would. As she opened the door that tone cane across his face like someone had just punched him in it. Even than Xi still had to bring up a mall smile at the half joke. Xi kept quiet ready to receive a verbal beating which hurt him more than she'd know.

Still Nasrin was light and he had no difficulty carrying her bar perhaps the delicacy of him having to be lightly around the injuries he'd caused. Still he placed her on the bed like back in her room. Backside own first and then gently let go of her upper once she has support on the right hip. Then Ximal shut up. sort of vanishing off into the corner like a very big child ready to receive a scolding. But no oddly, nasrin spoke to kalia and knew about her being a dhani. And more to the point, she was being nice to kalia ? What black magic was this ? All she'd done since he'd met her was shout at him and whine about him. Though that was kind of to be expected due to the injuries...Sinking into almost absolute quiet he let the two of them talk not wanting to interrupt for lack of want to get shouted at be two very strong and very thoughtful women.
