(This is a thread from Mizahar's fantasy role playing forums. Why don't you register today? This message is not shown when you are logged in. Come roleplay with us, it's fun!)
The player scrapbooks forum is literally a place for writers to warm-up, brainstorm, keep little scraps of notes, or just post things to encourage themselves and each other. Each player can feel free to create their own thread - one per account - and use them accordingly.
As Ball is getting closer and closer to maxing out Pyken as a skill, I would like to request that in places where Ball is not doing enough to constitute Pyken XP if Pyken technique lores could be issued instead.
Examples of proper XP level for Pyken would be: Ball developing or refining his technique by adding new thing against an actual moving target, not a dummy.
The use of basic skills alone are not enough to accomplish XP at Ball's current level of Pyken.
Thank you.
I will be handling all Ball related posts on Mondays @ 1800 my time *
You're on petching fire, girl. Mizahar is surely blessed to have your essence back, streaming across its continents and tying people together. As the Lady of Rage rocked ruff and stuff with her afro puffs, may you also rock on wit your bad self.
Thank you, Pulren. I believe I owe you a thread, too. Sybel is the only one left I have yet to sink my teeth into. Let me see if Iggy wouldn't mind tossing you into the Aperture with me.

It's a shame, then. I'm sad to say I'm so broke, I can barely pay attention. Otherwise I'd come find you and buy or lunch or some such fun activity. Maybe at the Portland City Grill. Their happy hour is just amazing!
Oregon is a wonderful place, isn't it?
Also, I feel that it is high time I put something meaningful here. Hell, I've even been messing with the idea of recording a new video blog. We'll see. Maybe if I make myself presentable today.
Otherwise, I'm going to actually write about things I care about. More on that front later!

& an apology to certain folks that I've been writing with
I threw in that caveat so no one would panic. As you might've noticed, the name of my scrapbook has changed. Likewise, this is post number one hundred. Add in mercury in retrograde, the passing of David Bowie and what I'm about to say next and it all feels very bittersweet.
I am retiring Sybel and Celeste Arumen. To those that have been writing with those two characters, I apologize. If you are engaged in a thread with either of them, feel free to PM me in order to make arrangements. Otherwise, those threads can be graded and/or their presence in the thread ignored.
The reality is that if I'm to continue writing on this site, I have to limit my activity. I'm notorious for taking on too many commitments and then abruptly making what is known as an 'irish exit.' This is me ensuring that it won't happen again. While I love all of them like imaginary children, I feel the experiences with Sybel and Celete have been codified, well enough at least that I am comfortable laying them to rest. There is a chance that one day, I may bring them out of retirement but that is a decision I will make then and not now.
I'm confident you folks will respect this. You're good people. I wouldn't have come back if I believed otherwise. I've enjoyed writing with each and every one of you. For those of you that I'm losing, it is my hope we will be able to write together again in the future and I apologize for being so abrupt.
I am aware how my decisions affect other people. We get attached to these characters and to one another. As writers, we're in a love affair with our own imaginations. Sometimes it results in a thin skin. But it is because we care, which in all of it's destruction and fury creates very good art. I hope you can forgive me.
Let's all make this a very good year.
- K
