Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Old Friends, New Days [Blythe]

As Keyta left the konti's body, she stared at her wondering if this was the end of the fighting training. She hoped that she did not harm Blythe and that being the reason she wanted to stop if she did. Keyta knew she didn't weigh much but she did still have weight, and that is enough to break even sturdy branches sometimes. The bare child put her hands behind her head and tilted her body back to fall onto the ground once more, looking into the sky, watching the clouds that grew darker within the past moments. They churned and shifted, looking as though they were fighting with each other for the space in the sky that was no longer available. Sometimes shapes could be seen in the clouds, but not on this day, this was perfect. Not a glimpse of the sun could be seen as far as the trees could reach, and only a small breeze of wind kiss the girl's bare body. The chill of the sitting air was wonderful, full of the exciting sensation as if someone had just wrapped her body in a silken cloth. This was the weather Keyta lived for, however, the storms on the other hand, were not much to her liking.

Smelling the scent of the storm continuing to grow worse, the kelvic knew this was only going to lead to rain, then a storm, even if only mild. Without much effort, Keyta rose to her feet, picked up her cloths, and grabbed her bag. She did not want to waste time putting her clothing back on and grabbed Blythe to follow. Walking as she was, Keyta lead the konti back into the trees and back toward her home. She may have only been back for a small amount of time, but she already felt like she was home again.

The Konti smiled delicately as her companion rolled off her shoulders with a hollowed thud against the ground. As Keyta touched down, Blythe crawled forward a few paces before pushing up against the ground with her hands, easing herself into a kneeling position, before breathing deeply and allowing herself to come to her feet.

When she did, she looked down at her clothes. The clods of dirt that clung to the folds, and brushed them off, before turning back to Keyta and widening her smile as she watched her look up at the clouds rather peacefully.

She does look happy, Blythe thought to herself as her eyes followed her sudden movements. The rise. The reach. Tiny fingers twining between her own, and then the sudden pull. Leading her onwards. Feet rising and falling, as their bodies brushed branches. Low lying shrubs.

Oh dear, where are we going? Blythe wondered, as she let herself be led.

Just like in the old days.

Or... older days, perhaps.

OOCSorry for the delay.

Also, not sure if you wanted to wrap up, or had another idea? I don't mind either way, I shall follow your lead.

OOCI was thinking we could aim for a slightly longer thread this time and maybe do a little more of a day's worth, but it's all up to you <3

Quickly weaving and twisting through the forest full of white trees, Keyta continued to lead the way for her konti companion. Her goal still to make it back to their home, but moving a lot slower than she would normally go as Blythe didn't seem to run often and obviously didn't sense the same storm approaching. The thought of the storm's thunder made her skin crawl with goose-bumps and even shiver slightly as she gripped Blythe's hand just a little harder. The naked child avoided as many bushes and fallen trees as possible to make sure Blythe would not need to slow down. However a small bush did block the easiest path and they were right there at the end of the tree line. Keyta thought about it quickly and let go of her companion's hand to jump into the bush. Hey bottom end stuck out of the bush as she dug through with her hands and her head following closely. The little girl's head buried into the bush until she found the roots that connected with the dirt. Doing her best not to hurt the plant, she started digging around the plant and lifting it carefully from its home to remove their only obstacle. Keyta quickly lead Blythe through the home of the bush and when she made it through, the kelvic girl returned the bush to its home and pushed a little of the dirt back.

Keyta looked at her hands, realizing she was now covered in dirt, and looked back to Blythe. Without much of an option, the girl simply motioned for the konti to follow her as Keyta started jogging back home. The storm was getting close enough that the kelvic was able to feel it in her stomach, making her nervous, and even more anxious to return to a safe place. Unable to do so, the storm started to rain on the two woman that were still a couple turns away. The rain grew heavier and heavier, taking most of the dirt of the child but making her cold in return, cold enough that she became uncomfortable. Keyta looked back to Blythe, hoping she remembered how to get back home from this close, but didn't know what to do as the kelvic herself began to slow down from the tremble in her body. The sky began to roar and the tiny kelvic finally froze and fell to her hands and knees. Keyta's eyes widened and her body tensed as she waited for the rumbling to go away. When it did, Keyta slowly rose to her feet, realizing what she had done, and quickly looked back to Blythe, wishing to return home quickly.

Blythe followed her companion blindly for a time, until she grew to realize that they were headed back towards her cottage. She smiled weakly to herself, happy that her companion remembered the way home, until she stopped and shivered, and had to recover herself before continuing on.

Confusedly.

Sighing, realizing that after all this time, Keyta must have forgotten the way, Blythe beckoned to the young girl, and led her to the east, towards the main portion of the city and her home. They tread lightly upon the simple dirt roads, their eyes dancing over homes of white stone. Glistening despite the dark, ominous clouds that had gathered in the sky.

From time to time, Blythe would look up at it as she walked the well known path. Perhaps that is why she wanted to turn in so swiftly, the Konti thought to herself, she could sense it. Sighing, as she moved, the Konti directed her lavender gaze up ahead, until they came to the familiar front door of her cottage, and she pushed her way inside. Shutting the door near silently behind them.

"What do you want to do now Keyta?" Blythe asked, as she looked at her ruffled orange hair, and then down the length of the hallway.

OOCSounds good. We could have a party during the storm! Tehe.

Old Friends, New Days [Blythe]

Postby Keyta on December 28th, 2012, 8:27 pm

The small kelvic looked up at her friend, unsure of what she really wanted to do, so without stopping to think about it much, gave Blythe a slight shrug. Since they had managed to get indoors again, the storm was not quite as horrifying as it once was, allowing Keyta a moment to calm down and admire how well the home muffled out the noises. She looked around the home, noticing how clean everything looked and offered a unique smell that only her home gave. The smell was not something she could compare with anything, so over time, this scent only tied to the familiarity of Blythe's home. Her kitchen area was beautiful as well, and though she did not know how to prepare anything, she always enjoyed watching her companion make wonderful foods that looked and tasted amazing. Most of the time is was just simple fruits or mixtures of fruit, but somehow it always ended up better when Blythe's hands touched them. The thought of all of the things she had made for her made her stomach growl, alerting the bat that now was not the time to think of food, but instead enjoy it and sink her teeth into something. Keyta was slightly startled by the sudden notice of how hungry she was, and slowly turned to Blythe, wondering if she had heard and more importantly, if she had any plans for something to eat soon.

OOCSorry about how long it took to respond, had a pretty busy holiday season. I'm back now and hopefully not going to have any issues for a while to respond.

A delicate laugh escaped the Konti's lips as the sound of Keyta's stomach rumbling reached her ears. Her eyes sparkled merrily as she beckoned for the young Kelvic to follow her. "Come, surely there is something left over that we could give you," she whispered as she moved along the length of the hall and then turned to the faint scent of freshly baked bread and something grown too old. Her lavender colored eyes easily raked over the sparsely furnished room- the familiar chairs and wooden table. Counter with cupboards hanging over, and the food that lined it. They instantly settled upon the fruit bowl; near barren this time of year. But even so there was some, causing the Konti to stride over and pick out a red apple. She held it between her thumb and forefinger rather delicately as she pulled it away from the others and shined it on her shirt before tossing it at Keyta. "Hopefully this will help to fill you up," she said simply as she walked over to the table and took a seat near the end.

OOCIt's quite alright, I've been lazy lately. Also... I have no idea what I am doing with this. Erm... maybe Keyta can stick up her little bat nose and we can make the apples into sauce? And then we can paint the table with the mush. Oh yeah... high class fun right der.

The kelvic looked at the apple, quite surprised actually, this was one of the few times that she didn't make something new out of the plain fruit. She turned to face the konti that was now behind her, just enough to she her out of the corner of her eye, perhaps she doesn't always have a plan for food. Keyta grew slightly disappointed as she looked back down to the apple that was nestled in her hands, still hungry however, and took a small bite. Keyta's sharp teeth easily pierced the hard shell of the red fruit and cut through its white core with little effort. The unique fruit then filled the kelvic girl with its' unique taste, a bit of sour and bitter, but still good in its own way. Keyta made her fruit last as she would suck on the piece to take off of its juice from it, the best part to her, and then slowly mush the remaining, gather the last of its flavor with her tongue, and by then, it was gone. Keyta continued to play with her fruit as she walked over to the table to sit with Blythe, its would take a little while before she would be finished with each bite, much less the entire fruit. As she pulled out a chair, Keyta pushed it close to Blythe before climbing into it, and then, once she finally sat down, she leaned up against Blythe, her eyes closed and her head tilted toward her. Still however, she slowly continued to play with the fruit in her mouth and piece by piece, it filled her tiny stomach until the apple was gone.

Blythe listened to the delicate crunching of Keyta on her apple, watched the methodical process through her lavender colored eyes. "Is it any good?" she asked her, as the Kelvic pulled up a chair nearby and leaned up against her, spurring the Konti to raise her hands, and press her palms against the girl's head. Slowly, softly, she began to move the right from the top of Keyta's head to the bottom, over and over again. Running her fingers through her hair, pulling apart the knots. "You seem tired love, now that your belly has begun to fill," Blythe whispered. "Would you like to go to bed? Or should we do something else first? Draw perhaps?"

OOCI don't know what I am doing. I don't know what I am doing. AHHHHHHHH!

OOCLol, your fine trust me, I think your doing just fine, this is just one of the longer threads we've done. :P

As the kelvic girl rested, enjoying the feeling of Blythe's fingers running through her hair, Keyta's ear twitched as her companion mentioned something of drawing. She never once thought Blythe could draw and perhaps she would actually be able to teach her something. Keyta's eyes opened once again to look up at her konti friend with wonder in her eyes. The girl gave a soft nod to finally answer Blythe as she started to sit back up, placing what was left of her apple on the table and standing up once more, ready to follow Blythe if she needed to. Since she was thinking about it, she hadn't drawn anything in several days, yet she had nothing she was wanting to draw. Perhaps she would just draw this island or this home, or maybe attempt to draw herself and Blythe as they just were.

Blythe smiled as the younger girl finished her food and pushed away from the table. "Ready?" the Konti asked, as she too, got up, allowing herself to tower over the Kelvic. Slowly, she extended her hand, offering something to hold onto as she led Keyta back to her room. "We can share the bed if you'd like," she called, "there are enough pillows to prop ourselves up against," she added, as she picked her journal up off the bedside table, before crawling into the bed. "Do you have paper to draw on Keyta?" she asked next. "If not, there should be a few loose sheets in the top drawer," she explained with a smile, as she opened to the next blank page, preparing to write a poem whenever the words decided to come to her. "And some charcoal too if you're out of ink..."
