Physical Description
Isam is about 4'8 and shows therefore no difference with the rest of his race. He has a pale white skin with a light blue color which might seem unnatural to other race but is natural for the Isur. He has green eyes that others often describe as having a staring look.

Like the rest of his race Isam is very muscular and he has distinctive veins showing all over his torso and arms. His left arm has the distinctive blue color of the Vizerian clan to which Isam belongs.

Isam face is cleanly shaven and he as a strong dislike for facial hair which he considers a sign of a lack of discipline. His hair has a dark blue color and is at all times cut short. In his appearance strives to embody the virtues that the traditions of his culture teach him.

Character Concept
If you want to describe Isam’s character some words that would come to mind are withdrawn, rational and melancholia. That is at least how he appears to outsiders. He has a strong internal life and deep within he feels strong passions for the things that really matter to him.

Like all Isur Isam places great stock in engineering and he believes that the exercise of perfect craftsmanship is a form of devotion to Izurdin and another sign of the blessed status of the Isur in the world.

As a son of the Vizerian clan Isam puts religion on the first place. He believes wholeheartedly that the Isur are called and chosen by Izurdin and he feels incredibly privileged to belong to the chosen race. Religion is for him a matter of great personal devotion and a lot of his time is spent in meditation and prayer about the mysteries of Izurdin and his powerful presence in the world. It is in this faith and philosophy that Izurdin finds his true meaning in life and his deepest to desire is to devote his life fully to his god as a cleric.

It is for that reason that Isam has invested a lot of his time in studying the lore of his people and is able to go to the Shrine of Izurdin to offer himself as an acoloyte. It is his firm belief that only in serving his god he will come to his true destiny in life.

Character History
Isam grew up as only child raised by his father after whom he is named. His family is one of the old families of the Vizerian clan and the faith in Izurdin and his special care for the Isur race was stressed strongly throughout Isam upbringing. Many of his relatives were clerics of Izurdin and the faith and doctrine of that religion runs strong in his family. His father’s devotion to the religion knew no boundaries and his belief in Isur superiority and the workings of Izurdin in the world were passed on to his son.

Isam’s father was a deep man that loved his son but at the same time had an extremely withdrawn and sometimes erratic character. He was a school example of a complex man that is trying to be simple. His mother died when a group of bandits tried to raid the outpost in which they were trying to ply their trade. Isam’s father and the other Isur overcame bandits only to discover that his wife had died in the struggle. Isam watched as his father broke the neck of the surviving bandits one by one with his shining blue fist. From this moment onwards a deep grief and distrust to other races became part of the Goldhand family home.

From this moment onwards Isam withdrew more and more in the contemplation of his religion and the tradition craftsmanship of his race. He grew more and more in his knowledge of both and his loneliness was softened by his devotion for Izurdin and the objects he made.

When he came home one evening his father had disappeared and Isam knew that he would never see him again. The madness in which his father had long been descended had finally overtaken him and nobody could say where he had gone.

It is time to make his own way in the world and time to pursue his dreams.

Housing
Ancestral house in the Vizerian City in Sultros. It is a modest house build by Isam’s ancestors. It contains simple living quarters and a house chapel in which the family used to worship. The chapel contains the Goldhand, the family heirloom and object of devotion.

Possessions
Long black leather cloak inscribed with traditional incantations of Izurdin
Simple black cloth shirt
Simple brow leather pants
Metal shoes
A black leather glove on the right hand inscribed with the traditional names of Izurdin
Waterskin
Backpack which contains:
1 Set of Toiletries (comb, brush, razor, soap)
Food for a week
1 eating knife

Heirloom
"The Goldhand", this is a holy relic that is ascribed to one of the most famous ancestor of Isam: Izuramir Goldhand Vizerian, a high priest of Izurdin and the founder of the Goldhand family.

Isam's family believes that the god changed Izuramir's hand into pure gold to reflect his inner purity. It is a family tradition that he was taken by Izurdin because he was too holy to live in the mortal world. It is this hand that ever holds its fingers in blessing that is the greatest treasure of the Goldhand family.

The Goldhand family tradition claims that in the past "the Goldhand" has shown the power to heal people and it is said that those that meditate in its presence are sometimes blessed with visions and divine inspiration. It has to be said however that Isam and the generations above him have not yet experienced such powers themselves.

Hey there!

I'm Siren, the local and completely harmless Character Sheet Liaison. In order to help you get the most out of your experience on Mizahar, I have taken a look at at your Character Sheet to make sure that everything is up to par!

Unfortunately, there are a few changes that have to be made before we can move forward! Please see the tabs below for details on these issues. Once the issues have been addressed, feel free to send me a private message, let me know you've fixed what I've pointed out and I will gladly remove the intervention!

Birthday
You're missing the day and the season! Even if your PC doesn't know his exact birthday in character, it needs to be included in his CS :D

Gnosis
You need to submit a ticket to the Help Desk to get your Gnosis approved. The Founders will give you a Storytellers Secret to put into your profile. No Gnosis can be considered approved until the Storytellers Secret is in place :)

Heirloom
This is where I am a bit iffy. An heirloom is supposed to be 50 GM max, and a solid gold arm is way, way over 50 GM. You also made up an NPC that was a high priest with multiple Gnosis marks. Again, I am not sure about this. In your HD ticket for your gnosis, you need to ask for permission to create such an influential NPC and unless the Founders can specially approve your Heirloom along with the NPC, you're going to have to change it to something that fits within the 50 GM constraints. :)

Write on!
