Vick did not say anything at first when Rayage had asked him the question. He just slide a sharp knife along his finger and smeared his inchor along each set of the new armor, as he did a soft glow emitted from each set before turning back to normal.
His Auristics flared to life as he pulled his djed from the depths of his soul into his eyes. Looking at the new creation they had made together. This was the first time Vick had ever really worked with anyone but he was taken back. Speechless almost as his fingers touched each piece softly as if they were apart of him before he smiled to himself as he put on each part.
He moved the left arm to his own arm, yet even without cords it molded on to himself and stayed on its own free will though the power of the magic. Malediction had a bad habit of keeping objects on to people in different ways. The same went for the right part, left and right leg and even after he placed the cap on last.
So there he stood, a young eight or nine year old child wearing what looked like steel armour that stayed on to his body despite no cords or leather straps. His unblinking eyes just took it all in as he flexed his hands open and shut as he was trying to summon forth his djed once more for his auristics yet he could not. It felt like it was behind a thick wall faraway but he did not panic like he would have years ago. He just took off his helmet and as soon as he did his magic came flooding back to him.
“Human, Come stand before me. I need to test this out.” Vick said ordering the human about as he put the helmet back on. It would seem he was not able to focus his djed into personal magic but if the artifact gave him what he thought he saw he would not have needed magic.
Even if Thomas did not listen to Vick, Vick himself would have gone to him. Without any reason besides to test out the new artifact Vick threw a right hand punch towards Thomas stomach. If he had moved Vick would had then threw a left jab to his face before a low right kick.
Vick never once fought before in his long life. Never even thought of fighting with his hands but he seemed to know just what to do and how to do it. The armour gave him a good amount of skill fighting but with his own understanding of the human body he was a force to be reckon with even if his body still was slugish due to being a nuit.
If the blows had hit than Vick would have stopped but if Thomas had dodge the attacks than he would have kept going. Left jab towards the ribs, right jab towards lower stomach, left and right towards his throat. His body moved as if he had fought for months and not just learning it. The artifact told him what to do, guiding him as he just saw Thomas as something to beat. To kill almost.
Vick did not even take into account what the artifact was doing to Thomas or even Rayage for that matter. It was giving off an area wide effect making them feel uneasy and unsure of themselves. A ringing in the back of their head almost telling them to flee. To hide away from the darkness.
He would have stopped yet on his own time. If the human had told him to stop Vick would not have listened or even cared. After a few punches and kicks he would back off and giggle like a little kid playing with a new toy. Really was it a new toy to him.
Yet his unblinking eyes told a different story, they were pulsing almost with life. Passion. He was enjoying feeling the power of the new artifact. And it showed so deeply within himself as he watched the human as if he was beneath him.
