Hadrian said a lot of confusing things, and things about a god she knew nothing about, but she did understand the term dreamwalker. That was what Addy had called the woman she spoke to. This man apparently had the same sort of power, though apparently he was a novice at it. The other thing that Sira understood was that they had shared the dream before. Or rather, Sira understood what he did not. Hadrian had been there, with her, she knew it now. Ricky.. had not. But Hadrian had been there. But for some reason he couldn't remember.
The fact that Hadrian had experienced the same thing she had caused Sira to focus, which actually turned out to be a bad thing, because it was engaging the more lucid side of her brain, and causing her to loose her grasp on the dream. Basically, she was starting to wake up. Ricky seemed to be having trouble too, and he couldn't even remember her name. Sira wanted to talk to them more, but now that she was doing more than just dreaming, she was starting to wake up. She was thinking too much, and beginning to stir.
"We didn't share a dream. It was real. You must have been there, it was.."
Sira suddenly became distracted. In the waking world, her body stirred, rolling over and wrapping her arms around the naked healer next to her. The blankets were warm and cozy, but Sira was naturally an early riser, and she usually awoke very quickly. Most mornings Sira was up with the dawn.
"It.. um.. what was I talking about?"
Sira struggled to hold on, but she didn't have much time. Unless Hadrian had some power to keep her there, Sira would wake within a chime. If they had any last words to get it, the time was now. Sira probably wouldn't remember any of them though.. it was always so hard to remember dreams.. except for the nightmares, of course. The nightmares never left.
