He cradled her in his arm's once more as he followed her directions, taking a mental note to watch his step as some of the smaller rocks were "not so small" when it came to stubbing his toes. He was extra carefull now that he was playing the role of a guardian, even more so now that she was relying on him. As he continued to the direction she pointed he noticed her expressions, each one similiar but different after where ever her mind wondered. This was a good sign to him really, it meant that she now was reasoning. Or at least it seemed like she was reasoning, more less she was interesting to look at. The occasional glance he would spare to see her expressions made him smile, as he pressed onward to the abandoned cottage. She was cycling through her thoughts the whole time, her eyes jumping from place to place as Ricky kept a watchful glance. He wanted to make sure that her mind did not wander too far off, for if she were losing to much blood then she could hallucinate or whatever dying people did after too much blood loss. He didn't disturb her though for she seemed quite contempt in her silence, her expressions going through each confused phase as he continued with his occasional glances. His steps were quick and careful as he kept heading in the direction she pointed, but even at the credible distance they travelled he still felt lik they were lost or he had taken a wrong turn.
Such a huge place this was and yet Ricku felt that it was only a small piece of the world, like the wildlands outside his home this area was only part of something much bigger. The dangers they both provided were challenging ones, yet when one would accept and perservere through that challenge they would arrive to their destination stronger then before. In which this case he felt something like that, but only more accomplished then stronger, when he noticed a landmark drawing nearer. It was the cottage she mentioned earlier, abandoned but still oddly in tact. As if the dream were expecting them to search for it. Ricky thought little about though as he drew closer to it, finally arriving at the door which awaitd for them. He couldn't help but feel as if he were barging in even though it was abandoned, but there was little time for second thoughts now. The door was cracked slightly as the cottage waited to welcome them, and as he tapped the door with his foot to open the creak that the door gave was followed with a sigh; one that would say "welcome home" to those that once lived here. He was entering now as he looked around, small if not decent sized with it's homey interior decorations; or whay was left anyway. There was a bed not to far from the fire place, an excellent spot for her to rest while he searched for medical supplies. Gently he placed her at the edge of the bed, looking to her eyes once more as he stroke her cheek in comfort. "Wait here, I'll look for something that can be used to help your injuries." He looked to the fireplace, it's wood waiting to become fire. He would definitely be doing a favor if he found some tinder and flint, but that would be after she was helped.
When he stood up and went to look in another part of the cottage, he shut the door gently as it clicked shut. Locking it to bring a safer sense of security, much needed and welcomed in his opinion. He hoped she felt safer at least, when he looked to her with hopeful eyes she seemed to be okay. He continued on with his task. Searching in cupboards and closests that were in corners and sections of the cottage, he imagined that this abandoned shell was once a great home for it's inhabitants. No doubt an excellent place to raise children if they had any. Convinced that he was getting close to finding bandages, he stumbled upon a green herb with rolled up wraps. Perhaps a medicinal herb? He felt sure about it already, and he knew little about medicine. In the dream world though that can hardly matter, as one could know only the simplest of things; and yet perform much better procedures then what that dreamer knew. Eager to see if Gin was still ok he grabbed the two, and walked in a fast pace as he went to return to her. When he did he would show the rolled wraps and herb he found, "Do ye think this'll work?"
