Yohan, The Orphaned Zith

Physical Appearance
Yohan is average built with dark blue eyes. His hair is Long in length a darker red , as well as the longer fur on his body. the rest of the shorter fur is black. His wings are a black and red mix with a 20 foot span from tip to tip when stretched entirely.
Character History
Yohan is a Zith who was orphaned as a Child when his birth mother was killed during a young Akalaks right of passage. Shortly after, a Konti who had foreseen his abandonment came and adopted him as her own. When the other people asked her why she adopted him her answer was simple. "I saw him. And I saw him for a reason."
Raised by a Konti on the island city of Mura, he was never exposed to the darker side of his kind. In fact, he was never exposed to his kind at all.
When his mother had found him, she found him, and his twin brother. She was going to take them both when a Zith woman confronted her. She was forced to offer one of the children, in exchange for her life. She had intended to tell Yohan on his tenth birthday of his origins, and his brother.
He was taught by his adoptive mother to respect life and other people. Being, naturaly, a creature of instinct, this was no easy task. She often had to ask for help from other sources to help contain him. She encouraged skills such as reading and (to less success) writing, as well as skills that she knew he would need to survive on his own. These included Hunting and Unarmed Combat. He also began studying Hypnotism through a book he and his Mother picked out.
He grew up, knowing full well that he was different from the other people. Also learning of the horrible, yet understandable, racism towards his kind from the various travelers to Konti Isle. Because of this rasist mistrust of him, he grew to love deeply his Konti mother, who seemed to be the only person who truely understood and accepted him. And it was that love of her that lead him nearly to the brink of insanity when she became violently ill, dieing shortly after.
Blamed for her death, and with near no one to defend him he was forced from Mura. Luckily, before her death, she had him built a small shelter far outside of Mura on the Southern tip of Konti Isle. This shelter is little more than a small cave overlooking the sea with a wall and door.
Character Concept
Yohan is generally caring, curious and craves acceptance and friends. Hes helpful and adventurous. On the downside however, he can be very demanding and unpredictable. But he is a creature of emotion. When provoked he can be vengeful and very angry, often requiring time and space to calm down to reasonable state. But when provoked in a different way, he may become passionate and obsessive. When seeing someone mistreated he can become defensive of that person, knowing full well the feeling. At worst however he may even become vengeful. He loves to take midnight flights and hunts and is very curious about other races and cultures.
As of late, developed from the compulsive need to make friends, he has begun to stalk and watch people that he thinks (or rather hopes) may like him. Since his mothers death however, he has found himself to be much more irritable. When asking a favor, if he is denied he finds himself very irate at the person, sometimes lashing out. On the opposite end, he never likes being told what to do. When ordered to do a task, he will likely never comply. A request, if from the right person, may get him to do at least something.
Religion
Yohan has come to worship two Gods primarily. Leth, and Zulrav.
Leth - God of the Moon, Change, Reflection, and Thought. First and foremost God he worships. Yohan feels that he has a strong bond to each of Leths Domains.
The Moon - It is under the moons light that he feels most comfortable. Night is when he lives. When he thrives.
Change - Over his life many changes have occurred. Many of which he wish never happened. But mostly, he wishes to change the way others view him.
Reflection - This is something Yohan will do often. When he is alone, as he usually is, he will simply think and reflect on past events. Learning all he can from them.
Thought - This ties deeply with Reflection. But usually Yohan will find himself overthinking too much on things that should be simple
Then there is Leths personality. Like Leth, Yohans attitudes usually change as if molding to the situation. However one thing he always feels, as Leth will protect Syna, Yohan will always protect the misunderstood and the one who is 'different' in the group. As he knows how they feel. Although he does not like to admit it, when he hunts, he takes great pleasure in the wild, untamed violence often involved. He only hunts animals however as of now.
Yohan has been gifted the Gnosis Telepathy by Leth when he met him after a confrontation with a slaver. He keeps the purple crescent moon on his left wrist wrapped in a cloth that looks like a bandage. He hides it so as not to draw suspicion when he uses it.
Zulrav - As far as personality goes, Yohan does not feel as close to Zulrav as he does Leth. Yohans worship of the storm god comes from a mix of respect, fear, and thanksgiving to the sky, and thus, to Zulrav.
Respect - He respects the unpredictable power of the skies he navigates on a daily basis. One moment the skies would be clear as glass, and the next he may have to find shelter from a terrible storm. He has often been heard of describing his own unpredictable nature as similar to this.
Fear - Yohan flies as a primary source of travel. To anger the sky god would be to ask his vengeance upon himself. After seeing the storms that appear over the ocean, he knew this was a terrible vengeance indeed
Thanksgiving - He views his wings almost as a gift from Zulrav. Growing up, he was the only one with wings. None other than him could see the world as he did, or reach the places he could. This made him special to both himself and to K'larin. He has great pride in his wings because to him, his wings are proof of permission to enter Zulravs domain.
