Now here was a place Ricky had always felt familiar with, one that he had always known so well as it was as deep as the chasm in his heart. Dark and alone was the void of this deep abyss as he felt himself hover through it's empty depths, whether he was in the vastness of the unlight sky or in the abyss of the water hr knew what this was. This was a dream again. He had fallen asleep here, and though he swore he could've felt some form of projection with his soul there was no magic involved. For this eternal abyss was his soul. It was the deepest part of the ocean within him, the lost collection of memories he could never touch. It was also the prison of his heart, the cage of all his emotion. There was no beast that dwelled here, for deep inside his heart he knew the true monster was himself. Yes he was a monster on the inside, a basket case to the world in which he understood little of. The mysteries that wrapped around him, plaguing his mind as he would sink. Sink deeper into the eternal depths where all sound was completely wiped out, where the only sound that could be made was the call of the ocean.
There was no end to this abyss, no sign of hope that could pull him out of here. This dark place was one that he placed himself in, one that he neglected to bring into the light. It was his inner self he never seem to let out, never allowed for others to meet. It was his wishes and desires, all trapped down in the deepest reaches where he had no real means to open. Only because of the veil that hid it from his mental capabilities, for he was not strong nor brave enough to swim these waters; and like a vault sealed shut with the highest shield spell a mage or wizard can cast it was impenetrable. Yet what was he doing here now? Was the dream finally giving a hint on how he could unhinge this safe? Could he find a way to forever break the spell? The answer was not here, even as he searched with himself. When ricky finally opened his eyes however he found himself rising, instead of sinking, from the depths. What did this mean? Had he found the key already? Was there even a revelation to bear witness this time? Would he even know if there a revelation to begin with? Again none of these provided answers, just more questions to replace them. Feeling the heavy weight thickness of his burden lighten, Ricky closed his eyes from the light that now began to shine, relaxing as he reached the surface above. His breathing remained natural and unchanged, as there was no need to hold his breath. In the dream world he was able to breath in this ocean because he was part of it, it was by his blood that he was bound to its depths. Yet he was not alone. No he could feel an odd sense of familiarity as if someone else was here, but that sense was overwhelmed with the feeling of comfort now. Comfort in feeling the oceans embrace as it cradled him, rocking him gently with its soothing waves as he floated on.
The sun was a definite warm welcome in this endless stretch of water, but Ricky wasn't sure if this was tied to him. For the dream had now taken it's course and he was no longer lost within himself. His chavi had now connected with someone else's. Whether he would know them was only a matter of time, the chances being unlikely as many dreams before were ones sealed and buried within the deep. Lost like an ancient pirates grotto it was full of these memories, these dreams that he could not remember in the real world; and those he was dreaming with. He could remember one very easily as he has seen this man before, twice now actually as he remembered the dream of the ship now. His perfect timing was like an intervention that slowly brought the reality in Ricky; even if being lost in the tension of the heat was more fun. The feelings that were associated were the easiest to recall first, the deep abyss echoing out it's resonating call as Ricky could hear one whisper of his name. Hadrian. Dream walker. Friend. These key words were all he could gather as they remain buried within the untouchable bottom. The revelation was still uncertain though. He could feel the water becoming more fluid and shallow now, perhaps a sign he would soon wake up and forget this unsolvable anomaly he was in.
Yet it was only just the beginning of the dream, as he had just fallen asleep not to long before seeing the endless pitch of darkness that he was surrounded in. So what was this? Sand? He felt his body soon wash up on shore, yet he did not move or open his eyes. He was relaxed and meditating, searching deep within to find the answer. 'A shore. Is this a symbol for something? A hidden meaning I'm suppose to realize?' He knew not the answers as still the question found itself with another, and with his mind deep in his focus Ricky exhaled a sigh. When Gin would find Ricky in this current state she would find him in his real clothes, a simple vest to cover his bare torso with linens and his worn leather shoes. The pendant his mother made would glitter within the light of the sun, a beautiful gleam as the glass feather would shine it's beauty from within. Ricky wouldn't notice her though for he was to caught up in his thoughts, to wrapped up in the troubling puzzle that he could not solve. This was exactly the part where Ricky thought himself as a monster; for not being able to look into himself and see him for who he really is.
